AFTERPARTY III: Never Have I Ever Been Quite This Drunk

[There's absolutely nothing celebratory about this drinking party. "Party" isn't even the right word, not really-- it's more like a "drink until you forget and/or black out" session for anyone who wants to participate, and even the bartender isn't immune from that much. Please forgive him if your drink isn't mixed quite right; he's trying his best under the circumstances.
There's food, too, if anyone wants to attempt to stave off a hangover tomorrow, or just get something in their stomach after the events of the day: stirfry from Makoto, vegetable soup from Nageki (mediocre, but hey, a genuine effort was made and that's what counts), and some tea for those who would rather abstain from the harder stuff. (Is that even many people tonight? Probably not.)
Come on by the bar if you're hungry or want a drink, or even if you just don't want to be alone right now. That much, at least, is something that can be guaranteed tonight.]

Anyone who approaches him will get a wry smile. ]
Three weeks are too little time to learn to judge a person. To understand somebody, you need to know their past most of all.

Seems the promise of treasure is worth opening a bottle for the bird... Then again, acting as a parrot's butler for a little while is a cheaper price than murdering someone.
After the parrot's had his fill, Norton meanders about the bar, wordlessly checking in on everyone. There is... Some hesitance at points, but now he's just lost in his thoughts. ]
no subject
And he hasn't even gotten half-way through the shot!
The parrot sits on the bar, partially muttering to himself, partially muttering to Norton.]
Zat woman-has ze gaul to cry about not saving people, zen goes ant stabs a min-man in ze chest. And zen to say nosing of aftervarts-and teh-the humiliation-

That doesn't make him feel much better, though, and there's none of his usual good spirit or easy confidence today. In fact, there's not that much conversation at all, unless you poke at him. He's just tired and drained and feeling totally off-kilter.
He won't turn down some food if anyone wants to bring some over to him, though, and a little company probably wouldn't go amiss either.]

Of course, if you leave the party early and head to the training grounds, you'll find him toying with a strange-looking briefcase. He presses a button and it moves, mechanical parts rearranging themselves into a shield that's about the same size as said briefcase. He'll do it again and it takes the shape of a scythe that's larger than he is tall. That's like six and a half feet of scythe. He sighs and moves to stand, carrying the weapon with him with ease, despite how damn heavy that thing must be. If you're nearby he'll likely notice you at this point, and hold up a hand in greeting.]
I hope you weren't planning on having the place to yourself tonight!
[Because he's not leaving until he's worked out some stress.]

Much later --when the food preparations are done, mess cleaned, and even his coffee isn't enough, he won't be able to sleep. So he'll be at the bar again. How many drinks has he had? (take your pick from 1 to someone should walk him back). Anyone that approaches will get a muted offer for him to pour them some. ]
I found some wine in the back, if you want a glass.
[ Like the last party, he'll be smoking outside at various times throughout -- outside the lodgings, the bar, or anywhere in between.

[ Once Nageki finishes cooking and bringing strangely mediocre soup over to the bar, he's...gone?
For once he's not staying in the same general area as the afterparty, not even to grab food. Logically, he knows he should make the effort to. Emotionally, he wants to shut down a while like the first week's afterparty. Just not anywhere around anybirdie else right now.
The combination of Yor's loss and Hamelin's announcement will take a while for him to process enough to act normally in front of others. Which is unsurprising, considering how much he saw Yor as a weird, but reliable older sibling. So he'll be staying around the archives until long past midnight, reading through encyclopedias by the dozens with little actual comprehension. Sometimes he writes something down in one of his loose leaf papers, though he'll refuse to let anyone read any of it. His main goal is to sort out his thoughts, and well, easier said than done.
Maybe he can be lured out for food, but in general, living the shut-in book life. ]
Saturday
[ Generally wildcard since he'll be wandering around during the day, but later on, he can be found in the archives yet again, quietly working on puzzles written within the small stack of books beside him. ]

Her jaw is set and she looks... frustrated, but less angry than she was at the end of the trial. Mostly, she's just tired. If anyone approaches her, she'll nod at them and silently motion for them to sit next to her.
Upon closer inspection, her fists seem to be bruised and bleeding slightly from some stress relief sparring against an inanimate dummy that is now missing a head.]

He does murmur a soft apology to those running the joint, a little repentant about being unable to be here in any particular capacity than one: he'll spend most of his time slowly, dutifully asking for and then downing drinks (though still, he goes for the sweeter ones, rather than the hard liquor; it really is a time for indulgences). One, two, three. Four. Five.
Those passing by will either find him still at it, though they might get a small tilted smile and a not-particularly coherent, half-sung remark--]
Ah, if you're looking for the bar -- the bartender, I'm afraid, I'm afraid that I was here first.
[--but he won't stop anyone else from sitting down, joining him, and so on. The later it gets, though, the more liable he is to be found just plain dozing against the counter, half-curled around a little sheet of notes and his usual pen.]

[Rika walks over to the bar, hoping to secure a bottle of wine for herself, but she physically deflates seeing how many people there are. Another party, huh?]
Of course...like clockwork.
[She sighs, heading towards the back to get her wine. She looks about as dour as anyone else.]
Fairy Sweet Park
[Rika cuts out of the actual bar, taking her wine bottle and glass to a picnic table to drink by herself at night. This is the way she's used to having her wine.]

On Saturday, she's at the royal kitchens, baking up a storm. She's not trying to take over the whole kitchen, but she is making a ridiculous amount of cookies. On occasion, she'll mutter under her breath about how just a pinch of salt would make these taste better and what are tears good for if they can't make at least that?
