AFTERPARTY III: Never Have I Ever Been Quite This Drunk

[There's absolutely nothing celebratory about this drinking party. "Party" isn't even the right word, not really-- it's more like a "drink until you forget and/or black out" session for anyone who wants to participate, and even the bartender isn't immune from that much. Please forgive him if your drink isn't mixed quite right; he's trying his best under the circumstances.

There's food, too, if anyone wants to attempt to stave off a hangover tomorrow, or just get something in their stomach after the events of the day: stirfry from Makoto, vegetable soup from Nageki (mediocre, but hey, a genuine effort was made and that's what counts), and some tea for those who would rather abstain from the harder stuff. (Is that even many people tonight? Probably not.)

Come on by the bar if you're hungry or want a drink, or even if you just don't want to be alone right now. That much, at least, is something that can be guaranteed tonight.]

[That is... definitely more than he expected, yeah, and he's honestly grateful for it given that he can't even remember when last he ate. Today...? Yesterday...? He's not sure.]

Well, I sure can't complain about your definition of "something" here, that's for sure.

This is something, right? I figured I'd just approach it like... well, something will fit if I bring everything.

[And look, he's almost smiling a little!]

[He gestures to the bottles behind the bar. He doesn't know what the drinking ages in different worlds are, and to be fair, he's also not about to strictly enforce them tonight, not after everything.]

[ she glances at the bottles behind him, and blinks. ]

I've, uh, never tried any of those?

[She is, fortunately, not the first one he's heard that from tonight, so he's prepared.]

Well, you've got flavors you like, right? Name a few and I can mix "something" up for you.

[A deliberate choice of words there? Perhaps.]

I like all the flavors? Can you do that?

So like a fruit punch, but made with booze?

[Can he do that? Yes. Would it be a mistake? Probably also yes.]

[ she honestly has no clue. it SOUNDS good, though. but her tastes are... well, it's a lot to learn what food tastes like in three years. ]

That's sweet, so that sounds good to me.

Sweet and fruity, coming right up!

[And what she ends up getting even looks pretty, too. It's strong, but it doesn't taste like it, so in that sense it's a little dangerous.]

Careful not to drink it too fast. It'll hit you pretty hard if you do.
