AFTERPARTY III: Never Have I Ever Been Quite This Drunk

[There's absolutely nothing celebratory about this drinking party. "Party" isn't even the right word, not really-- it's more like a "drink until you forget and/or black out" session for anyone who wants to participate, and even the bartender isn't immune from that much. Please forgive him if your drink isn't mixed quite right; he's trying his best under the circumstances.
There's food, too, if anyone wants to attempt to stave off a hangover tomorrow, or just get something in their stomach after the events of the day: stirfry from Makoto, vegetable soup from Nageki (mediocre, but hey, a genuine effort was made and that's what counts), and some tea for those who would rather abstain from the harder stuff. (Is that even many people tonight? Probably not.)
Come on by the bar if you're hungry or want a drink, or even if you just don't want to be alone right now. That much, at least, is something that can be guaranteed tonight.]

... Though by some miracle, he does eventually emerge from his hole and tries to walk past everyone with his head down as he goes to get himself a plate of food and a cup of tea. Feel free to poke him -- he at least seems to have calmed down from earlier. ]

[ she will definitely poke him, now that he's not being surrounded by people ]
room 3 room 3!!
[ He glances up at her, holding his gaze there after he opens the door, looking at her through his bangs. He doesn't look outraged like he did at the trial; he just looks...tired. ]
Yeah?

He doesn't really stop the kid from getting his food. In fact, he'll wait until the kid's sat down somewhere before joining him. ]
... I know how you feel.

[ He was probably just going to go back to his room, but he doesn't mind Norton flagging him down. Much. He stops and stands near him, looking towards the ground. ]
How so.

After everything that's happened these past few weeks... I don't blame you for not being able to really trust people anymore.

underage drinking cw!!
He sighs before placing his (small) plate of food on the counter and takes the drink.
He doesn't drink it just yet, but his hand is holding onto the cup. His eyes flicker up towards Marcus, then back to his plate of food; he does this one or two more times, like he wants to say something but he just can't. ]

[He'd never insist on something like that! But with that look on Tenn's face right now, he figures he might as well offer, because if Tenn is feeling anywhere near the same sort of emotions about this as he is... well. He absolutely understands on a far deeper level than he ever really wanted to.
And he won't push Tenn to say anything, either. He's just here to listen, if and when he feels comfortable talking. If not? He can just eat his food and drink his tea in peace. Marcus isn't going anywhere.]

Tenn's on that list, so at some point he makes his way to room 3 and knocks.]

[Raven sounds downtrodden just looking at Tenn. This boy has really been going through it.]
I just wanted ta check up on ya, and ta let ya know... Whatever you're feelin' right now, you're not wrong ta do so. Gettin' yer trust broken is rough, and in this situation? It's a hundred times worse.
That bein' said, Yor... [He heaves a sigh. That really threw him for a loop too.] There's no changin' the fact that she killed Gin. But I don't think that means her carin' about you and yer brother and all the other kids was all some charade.

Emerge
He feels stupidly awkward asking since he hasn't even grabbed a plate for himself (and probably won't). It's just him, his coffee, and the overly tight hold he has on it. He considers just retreating to his room instead. ]
... Mind if I join you?
no subject
Sure.
[ The way she says it, though, sounds very hollow. ]
no subject
Yor... he liked her, didn't fully expect it, but was far less blindsided than Tenn. In the end, he's not quite sure what to say this time. Grief was child's play to the number of times he'd been betrayed, his tally of failures. And that, he wasn't nearly as close to conquering.
It's a while before he speaks, coffee a great distraction until he isn't even really tasting it anymore. He sounds... defeated more than anything. ]
If you're not up for talking... that's okay. But, I'm here.

So he follows Tenn out and raises his voice so as not to startle the kid.]
Do you have a moment? I won't take too much of your time.

Sure.

I imagine today's been very difficult for you. I wanted to thank you for doing your best to assist with the trial, and I wanted to say that I'll be available to help you with your training whenever you'd like.
I don't have anything to say that will help with this, unfortunately. There isn't an easy way to recover from someone betraying your trust like that.
But should you ever want to a distraction, I can certainly provide that.
[This is something Tenn is going to have to work through on his own. He's going to have to decide who to trust and how much to trust them moving forward. But Yeager doubts Tenn needs to hear that, so he'll offer what he can - something else to focus on, even if just for a little while.]

he can't be so angry anymore, when Huaisang has lost just as much as he has. His look softens a little, and he frowns deeply. ]

[ ...
It's not alright, actually. So he's not sure what to say to that, for a moment. ]

[If it sounds really rather exaggerated for a muttering at the bar, then it's because Jack is both groggy and still halfway to inebriated -- he tends to just doze off whenever he has too much alcohol bar someone or something to keep him occupied, and this time is no exception.
Tenn has moseyed in just late enough to catch him on the tail-end of a spate of drunken napping, so have him peering curiously down from there at the sparse little plate of food and tea. Hmmm...]
I was looking for you... I think. Was afraid you'd gotten lost in the trees...
no subject
...What?
[ Ah. He's been drinking, hasn't he. ]
Jack-san...drink some water, please.
no subject
[It's really just a lot of mostly incoherent muttering while he fumbles around for something that looks like water as though on reflex -- maybe he's just more suggestible while half-awake and one-third sober, or maybe he's actually thirsty. All he gets for his trouble is mostly-melted ice in an empty glass...
But y'know what. Beggars, choosers. He'll down that and smile a little.]
Thanks. You're eating here?
[He's regarding the plate curiously still, blinking slowly. Judging by the wasteland in front of him he's completely failed to remember until now that food also exists.]
