AFTERPARTY III: Never Have I Ever Been Quite This Drunk

[There's absolutely nothing celebratory about this drinking party. "Party" isn't even the right word, not really-- it's more like a "drink until you forget and/or black out" session for anyone who wants to participate, and even the bartender isn't immune from that much. Please forgive him if your drink isn't mixed quite right; he's trying his best under the circumstances.
There's food, too, if anyone wants to attempt to stave off a hangover tomorrow, or just get something in their stomach after the events of the day: stirfry from Makoto, vegetable soup from Nageki (mediocre, but hey, a genuine effort was made and that's what counts), and some tea for those who would rather abstain from the harder stuff. (Is that even many people tonight? Probably not.)
Come on by the bar if you're hungry or want a drink, or even if you just don't want to be alone right now. That much, at least, is something that can be guaranteed tonight.]

Can I bring you anything
[He wants to be helping, even if there's not much that he can do.]

How are you holding up
no subject
... I'm not sure, to be honest. About any of it. [ a pause to look at him. ] What about you?
[ Given the whole Yor thing... it seems he's doing considerably better than last week. ]

So
I could be much worse, considering
[It hurts, but not nearly as much as C-ta.]

[Let alone someone most of them saw as a friend.]
I appreshate-appreciate zat you stayet close. I colt not have-coult not have looked her over properly wisout assistenz-assistence, so sank you.

I've had to search places where people were killed before, but
They don't usually leave corpses when spirits are involved
I'm not sure if that's better or worse
[It doesn't feel good either way, to find someone's discarded belongings and only guess at their fate.]

[He may have had too much, if he's started to reply in German first.]
Vhile not fishually-visually horrifying, imagination in sucht-such instances likely filt-filled in the gaps of vhat happened, and zat tense-tents to be more effective vith fear.
Still, she vas...somevone we all liecht-liked, until recently, so I must still express some form of gratitoot-gratitude.
tw: child death mention
I've seen too many discarded children's backpacks
Balls and toys
Dolls
[It never gets easier no matter how many times it happens.]
Re: tw: child death mention
I beleaf-believe even vone is more zan enouv-enough for a lifetime.
You set-said you vere a janitor of sorts, yes? For a museum? Vhat is hellt-held zere?
["And why is that a thing that happens there?" was the final question he felt he didn't need to ask.]
no subject
Including the violent spirit in the nearby forest that targets children
I do what I can to keep people out
And sometimes I've been able to rescue them before they were caught
But sometimes I haven't

No, that's okay. You've done enough for me tonight, Suga-san.
[ He has food and tea on him already. ]
no subject
Can I sit with you then
no subject
[ He'll nod to him. Have at it, Suga. ]
Are you doing okay?
no subject
Talking with everyone has helped
Reminded me why I still want to care about everyone here
no subject
[ Caring about people -- that isn't wrong. But he's learned a few things tonight about trust, and he hopes that Suga's learned about it, too, after...all of that.
There's a pause, but Tenn maintains that little smile on his face. ]
You really are a kind person, Suga-san. I'm glad you didn't let that stop you from being who you are.
no subject
People keep saying things like that
It's embarrassing
[He doesn't know how to take compliments, stop it!!]
no subject
[ :') ]
It may be hard for you to see, but I think most of us are aware of it.
[ ...and he hope that it doesn't put Suga in danger down the line. ]
no subject
If you say so
[It's still Weird.]
