Some days are long and some days are short. If this wasn't the third week of your stay, perhaps you might think that exhaustion had crept in from Wednesday's nights activities. But you know better than that by now.

Consciousness comes to you groggily, perhaps uncomfortably depending where you were when sleep suddenly took hold of you. While the world stands on the verge of awakening as the horizon blazes with a fiery glow, the sky remains a navy blue where you are.

The time is 5:00 AM. You could return to your slumber, but do you really think third time's the charm?

[Suga passed the body investigation onto Pericles without asking, the least he can do is check the surrounding area near the fountain.

Anything obviously out of place? Signs of a struggle?]

[Well, before Suga leaves the body itself, there's something he might've noticed that was a little weird on the inner rim of the fountain closest to where the body was. There seems to be a bit of pink powdery residue there, above the water where it's still dry.]

[The parrot is here and, SHOCKER: He does not like this. But someone has to look over a body, and he needs some sort of redemption for Gin.

So, first immediate thing: positioning of the body. Is it completely in the fountain? Just partially? Does it look like it's touching the bottom? That sort of thing. Could be important.]

[The body is completely in the fountain, yes! The fountain is quite shallow so it definitely seems like her arms and legs are touching the bottom, with the top half of her torso floating a little assuming Suga left her in the same position she was found in. The cloth continues to drift around her body, covering up most of her outside of her arms and everything above her neck.]

[ so hi he's here after hearing the announcement and figuring out where the body is, so. he's here to poke at wwx's body. thank goodness for vague autopsy knowledge.

first off - do the wounds look like they were caused with a blunt trauma weapon, or something more stabby? ]

[ Hello, yes, she has some dead body knowledge. Not from any suspicious activities she's engaged in over the years. It's fine. ]

[ A deep frown. Well, she hasn't spoken to WWX, so at least she can be objective, here. Junko nods to William and rolls up her sleeves.

She's going to take a look at the wound on his head, first. What's going on, there? ]

[Oof, where to get started, Moriarty, where to get started.

Most of the injuries Moriarty can see are bruises, large blackish bruises that stand out even amidst the red and purple discoloration all over the front of his torso. The one exception he can see right away, though, is the cut on Wuxian's forehead. Doesn't look like a deep cut, reaching just deep enough to make it bleed.

Note this is what he can see so far. There are bandages loosely tied around his abdomen, after all.]

[Edelgard knows she's not the best suited to investigate the body itself, so instead she'll try to investigate the wreckage around it.

Does she find anything interesting?]

Starting with the puddle of bloody water around the body. Careful not to step on that -- although really, with all the objects on that puddle, it'd be hard to stand there anyway]

[Marcus, meanwhile, is going to take the area immediately outside of the store. Anything of note out there?]

[Ah, there seems to be some blood splattered here on the middle of the road! Good thing Marcus was looking around, because otherwise perhaps it'd go unnoticed]

Makoto will be taking stock of the items on the ground. He's looking very carefully for anything that might be out of place among the clutter?

He has been in here so he should have an idea of what is generally stocked and is starting his visual review at the body William is handling and avoiding Edelgard's puddle. ]

[ From an immediate glance? Not much. But the mod header says there's stuff to be found here, so she should probably take a closer look around. ]

[So anyway, now that he's found a body, time to ditch and not deal with that!! The clocktower seems like there's probably some interesting stuff going on here, so he's back to check it out. It's currently noon according to the clock and the surrounding area, right?]

[It's in the vicinity of noon! The clock shows 12:45 right about now, probably give or take a couple minutes due to people running around finding bodies. The sun is high overhead compared to everywhere else which is still kind of waking up.]

[Well, he probably spends most of his time preparing for how to clean up and give the bodies a send off after the investigation -- since he's probably even more useless today than he would otherwise be -- but that just means Jack does a lot of running about at some point in here. Looking for things to help clean up, that sort of thing.

What does he find while he's puttering around?]
