Some days are long and some days are short. If this wasn't the third week of your stay, perhaps you might think that exhaustion had crept in from Wednesday's nights activities. But you know better than that by now.

Consciousness comes to you groggily, perhaps uncomfortably depending where you were when sleep suddenly took hold of you. While the world stands on the verge of awakening as the horizon blazes with a fiery glow, the sky remains a navy blue where you are.

The time is 5:00 AM. You could return to your slumber, but do you really think third time's the charm?

[Ah, once she takes a look she'll find out that it turns out...yes! Actually yes! This stiletto knife does look like one of Yor's]

[So the murders are connected. That should make thins easier.

Is there any sign of use? And if not, does it look, smell and feel like it's been cleaned recently?]

[On the contrary, mon cheri, this knife is really dirty. Alarmingly so.

Not only there's blood, there also are globules of some sort of a dark, viscid paste on the blade. Supposing that she smells it after seeing how blatantly unclean this knife is, she'll find that besides the smell of blood there's a tarry smell as well.

It's all quite unpleasant, all things considered]

[She curls her lip in disgust. Fucking gross.

Alright, tabling that for now... now to look at the robe. Anything to be noticed after unfolding it?]

[Certainly there is: blood on the back of this robe! Most of it is dry, but there's a short gash on a part of the back that still has some wet blood on it. There's bits of blood on other parts, but they don't seem to be particularly meaningful]

[Anything in the robes themselves? Pockets and such?]

[Pockets! Full ones, in fact. Time to plunder!

There’s a room key, stationary with scribbled music notes, candy (hot and spicy cinnamon hearts), and a piece of bread in his front pockets. They’re all clear of blood.

[Okay... good to have.

Now, finally the bottle of water. Can she tell by the smell if it is in fact, water?]

[Let's check the smell, hm...

...nothing. This smells like nothing at all. A good sign, perhaps?]

[Who can say... She'll pour a little bit of the remaining droplets out onto the chair, just to see what'll happen.

But, she's largely satisfied that it's probably water. So she'll take a look at this rag. Can she tell what it's wet with, or alternatively if it has any remnants of whatever it was used to clean?]

[The chair has gotten wet. Alright!

Also, worth noting the bottle has some blood on it, right in the middle of it. They're traces, really, without a concrete shape, but they do are all in one place.

The rag is soaking wet! Seems to be water, really, but it's also quite bloody, really bloody in fact. If you're wearing gloves after the investigation is over you should wash them and then put them into an oven for a spell, I have heard it does wonders]

[No cracks or damage at all! Seems to be pretty intact]
