Some days are long and some days are short. If this wasn't the third week of your stay, perhaps you might think that exhaustion had crept in from Wednesday's nights activities. But you know better than that by now.

Consciousness comes to you groggily, perhaps uncomfortably depending where you were when sleep suddenly took hold of you. While the world stands on the verge of awakening as the horizon blazes with a fiery glow, the sky remains a navy blue where you are.

The time is 5:00 AM. You could return to your slumber, but do you really think third time's the charm?

[ Nothing weird about the door before he does so!

Peeking inside gets Jack with... a room that looks to be in picture perfect condition. Hm. ]

[Well, time's a-wasting and he has much to do, everything looks fine here so he'll just turn around and walk off--

Okay no. If this week has taught them anything it's that it won't do to ignore the dead when the dead are being strange(?). He'll push the door a little more ajar and slip inside, looking around for any reason that it might have been disturbed.]

[ Her room looks pretty hotel standard at this point, just the bed and furnishings. Even now that he's inside there's nothing off, but standing there really taking it all in- the bed might look a little too perfect considering it's been mostly undisturbed (mirror shenanigans aside) for a while now. ]

[Are you telling him to go rifle through a dead girl's things even though it looks like all traces of her presence also died?? Terrible.

But all right -- he'll go ahead and pull back the covers. He'll move pillows and sheets if needed, but right now he's mostly doing a cursory search.]

Pulling back the cover reveals...that there's a sheet thief around here somewhere. Under the comforter is just the fitted sheet, the actual sheet is nowhere in sight. ]

[You already made him deal with a dubious kitchen incident today???

His eyebrows go up a bit, but because he hasn't as of this moment taken a closer look at Yor's body he only makes a brief note of it. Maybe somebody is just scavenging dead people's rooms, which is. Weird. But this is a rather eccentric bunch.

Just going to do a last check around. Anything else?]

Nothing else is out of place! Even the pillows were nicely arranged on the bed when Jack came in, but sometimes you need to sacrifice tidyness for evidence gathering. ]

[He'll put things back roughly how he found them, but seeing as he's not a housekeeper, uh. Maybe the fairies can help later.]
