Early to bed, early to rise. At least it seems that's how it was for you last night, no matter what you were doing. Given the events of the past weekend, you might find your mind jumping to conclusions.
[In the end, he was just a little too discomfited by tea from a clearly suspicious kitchen, and it likely isn’t going to be a great atmosphere for breakfast just now anyway. Nevertheless, Jack finds himself drawn to the bakery almost as if by habit, the smell of breads and baking in the morning always enough to wake him even from far away.
This morning, though. Well. It probably doesn’t smell quite as nice. This is terrible.]
Miss Yuri... It doesn’t seem as though any of our food spaces have been spared...
No, there isn't one here. The reports said the bodies are - quite a distance away. But... [ The reports said the lodgings and echo house, so why is there so much blood here? ]
[I may be canonblind as a bat but I accept this dragging in the name of FERDINAND VON AEGIR. Jack, meanwhile, does look a little chastised by Edelgard’s remark, cowering a little under her judging stare. It feels as though she’s looking through him!! Goodness!!]
Ah, I... apologize if that wasn’t appropriate. After everything this morning, this scene was just... a little much.
[...]
If the bodies are so far away, then... can we conclude that they were two separate killers? Or is that leaping to conclusions?
[ This morning it smells entirely of blood, which is just wrong because this is not a butcher shop! Assuming Jack is the straggler wandering in after Yuri and Edelgard and given that the blood is like an entire thing and grabs their attention, he'll spot something else on the floor!
...and because ily, I need to ask: Does Jack know what an inhaler is? ]
[He’s already pulled out his handkerchief reflexively to put it over his nose, and probably should have offered it to one of the ladies instead, but today is not the greatest of days for pleasantries.
Also there are blood tracks all over the place, this is like playing murder hopscotch. I am not googling Victorian hopscotch to see if that meta works, because I just googled Victorian asthmatics and he has no idea what the fuck an inhaler is I’m. Sorry.]
An odd device... Doesn’t appear to be related to baking... Strange.
[Talking to himself as he stoops down and carefully looks it over. Is it bloody? Does it look intact at least?]
[Wow, now he can recognize it even less than he already can't recognize it. Jack glances over at the other two, debates asking one of them what on earth this is, pauses, and then goes back to examining it. Should he... pick it up? Should one do that in a crime scene? Hm.
He'll dally a bit longer just in case. How many pieces is it in? What does the crushing look like? Is there some indication as to what did it, how much force, what direction, and so forth? At the very least he can look for some smaller details even if he still doesn't know much about the situation here...]
[ Incredibly dismayed, it is absolute wreck in here with the display cases having been smashed up and covered in blood. So much for having breakfast. ]
[ Covering her mouth, incredibly dismayed!! The poor fairies who have to clean up this place after! Why can't murderers do it cleanly for once??
Is there a trail of blood leading into the bakery? Or out of it? The bodies are so far away, after all. If there is, she'll try to avoid stepping in any of it as she goes in to examine the display cases. How were they smashed and anything missing? ]
[ The trail of blood leads out of the bakery but it stops there. We'll get to the display cases in a bit because she probably notices first how the blood by them is kind of pooled with blood splatter all around.
Oddly enough, there's somewhat of a void in the pool, like something was occupying that space. ]
[ It's a decently sized pool, large enough that towards the center the blood is still tacky looking while the edges are dried. As for the void in the middle of the pool well. It's about as big as you would expect a person to be, so. ]
[ Big as a tall person like Gin or a medium (???????!) person like Riku? Can she tell how that person was, uh, moved? Dripping trail of blood from the pool? Smears? Arrows drawn in blood? Help? ]

Yes, that's - um, unfortunate.

[Much to think about.]
Still, I think we can deduce that this was probably at the very least made to look like where at least one of the murders happened, if not both.
