Why would someone commit two murders spread so far apart...?

Still, I think we can deduce that this was probably at the very least made to look like where at least one of the murders happened, if not both.

[I may be canonblind as a bat but I accept this dragging in the name of FERDINAND VON AEGIR. Jack, meanwhile, does look a little chastised by Edelgard’s remark, cowering a little under her judging stare. It feels as though she’s looking through him!! Goodness!!]

Ah, I... apologize if that wasn’t appropriate. After everything this morning, this scene was just... a little much.

If the bodies are so far away, then... can we conclude that they were two separate killers? Or is that leaping to conclusions?

I don't know if we can conclude anything. But I would say it's... possible, certainly, but I highly doubt they're unrelated if that is the case.

[It'd be a bit much to call it a theory, but a guess is certainly forming in her head. Hmmm.]

If there are two... It can't be a coincidence, can it? They must be working together.

Or... one of the victims killed the other, or potentially one of the victims was even an accomplice. That's the only other scenario I can think of.

Regardless... it's too early to jump to conclusions.

This is sounding more and more complicated, and we barely know anything yet. (I truly dare not imagine what will happen later on.)

[The parentheses are definitely soft and to himself, a little disquieted, but then again there is absolutely nothing calming about this entire situation and also everything around them, so perhaps he might be forgiven. He's really trying not to say too many worries out loud, though.
