[ The pastries are NOT ok, at least in the display case that's been badly damaged. Jack's found a few errant ones on the floor, so truly desserts were the third victim today.

I sucked at describing this earlier so let's do take two: the most damaged dislay case has three glass panes: the center one is heavily cracked and has a good amount of blood on it. The outer panes haven't faired much better as they've been shattered, with the majority of the glass falling inwards though some still made it to the floor. ]

Is there anything to indicate what could have shattered the glass? And is there anything that could have blocked the center one from shattering? ]

[ There's nothing around that looks like it could have done that, no. And nothing is around to block the center one from shattering either. ]

[Edelgard, following the trail to the path, is going to stand up and frown.]

Do you think it's possible that Riku was thrown into the glass? That's the theory I've been running with.

I think that's definitely a possibility. But this cracked center pane is strange...

[ Is there anything inside the shattered sides that they should take note of? ]

[ Nothing you wouldn't expect to find, which is some cakes with glass shards in them and a few specks of blood here and there. ]

[Does it look like the center one is more or less bloody than the shattered ones?]

[ It's more bloody than the shattered ones. The shattered ones have suffered more from blood spatter, while the center one seems to have a concentrated area of blood on it. ]

[ If Yuri presses on the center pane, will it crack even more? ]

Is there some way to test how much force it would take to shatter one of these display cases?

[ Someone shove Yuri into a display case and steal her lunch money ig?? ]

[ It will! And wow??? Yuri doesn't deserve that. ]

While keeping it intact? I don't believe so. Maybe Lord Moriarty would know, but I imagine he's busy with the body.

[If someone shoves Yuri and steals her lunch money, Edelgard will have some stern words with them.]

[ Are there any prints on the glass - fingerprints or fabric prints? Any strands of hair that was caught in the jagged edges? ]

They do appear to be fragile; we might just have to assume he was pushed, as you suggested, since there isn't anything else here that could have done it.

[ Unfortunately there's no fingerprints, fabric or any other foreign debris. ]

[ Then anything to note in the wreckage before she does a quick sweep of the outside of the bakery? ]

[Nothing that wasn't noticed already! All this blood on the wreckage sure is excessive, though. Eugh...

Well, time to go outside of the bakery. Other than the stray droplet of blood leaving the bakery and going down the street -- very hard to see, no more than a couple drops with quite some distance between them -- looks like the outside of the bakery doesn't hold any secrets for you]
