TRIAL IV
Trial IV
The story presses onward as you gather in this now familiar "courtroom" to deliberate the deaths of two more of your number. By now there's more space for everyone with the population dwindling down to twenty, and by this weekend's end it will dip ever further. But maybe in a time like this more space is needed, though one most always be mindful of the clock.
Adora and Norton Campbell are dead, and the price must be repaid.
[OOC NOTE: Please keep in mind the only mod run checks are those that directly involve a piece of evidence found during the investigation. Those checks that involve player participation will rely on each player's willingless to partake in the check, for the sake of keeping IC choices intact]

I doubt sawing him up like this was the cause of death. Maybe the killer did it to hide the actual method.

They weren't trying to frame anyone this time

Like whatever really killed him, in other words. Which probably wasn't something from the fight itself, or was something so immediately identifiable that we would know who did it.
Should there be a cw here? Idk dismemberment???

But that doesn't mean the killer was untouched, either, if a fight did break out.

Someone strong, but not strong enough to be able to carry Norton all the way to the lake in once piece.

[That poor general store, seriously. Also F for Norton in general. He contemplates this for a moment, although he doesn't look like he likes to be contemplating it.]
Do we know... for sure where the deed was done? Was it the workshop itself, or was it someplace different? A saw is much easier to move than a body, after all.
