CHAPTER 3
CHAPTER 3
The number of murders increased in the span of one week, and so did the number of deceased people. Four people dying in the span of a week is a noticeable change, reducing your numbers to 25. Though the bakery has been cleaned up and fixed back to the state it was in originally, now that the specter of murder has fully settled in, perhaps some of those currently alive wonder how many will be around at the end of the new week.
It's fortunate now everybody can ponder it with a colorful change of scenery. Despite the situation everyone has been in, the world around them were plausible, even perhaps mundane to some extent. The scenery that unfolds beyond a canyon to the east drives home a point:
You're in a world far perhaps, beyond your wildest imagination.
It's a land of sweets. Wherever you look you can see something that's both full of sugar and joy. You could reach anywhere and you could get something that will make your mood soar and your day get better! After all, there's something for everyone! What wonders will you find if you search hard enough? This is a paradise for a sweet tooth! The sight, though, may make one question pop up:
Will this candy land be dirtied with blood? Only time will tell.
[[Welcome to Week 3! Feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. However, please try to keep investigations to Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday! You can also privately contact Hamelin at your leisure.
In addition, a reminder that any Murder Proposals for this week are due by Tuesday 3:00 PM EST/12:00 PM PST! However, please note that you have the option of submitting murder proposals for a later week as well.]]

...Is it hard for you to write right now?
no subject
I'm not used to writing with my left hand
[It's messier than normal, but it's still readable, at least.]
no subject
[ Starting with: ]
Am I allowed to guess why you did this?

suicidal ideation
[ That's more of a rhetorical question, though. ]
But you were trying to put an end to the game, right?
suicidal ideation
aaand cw for that again
[ ... ]
Be honest with me, Suga-san. Was it only an honest attempt to try and help us? Or was there more to it than just that?
Is it the first or second. You can hold up your fingers.
more cw
...maybe just a blanket cw for the rest of the thread
fun times ahead
I wanted to stop the game
If it weren't for him
None of this would have happened
But
If anyone was going to risk their life to do this
I thought it should be me
no subject
Stop it. Don't try to sacrifice yourself like this again. You should place more value on your life, Suga-san.
no subject
[It is, unfortunately, an honest question.]
no subject
Logistically, if you went and got yourself killed like that, that'd be one less person to help us in investigations and trials. That'd be one more point in Hamelin's favor and another point for his enjoyment.
...Do you want the more personal answer.

Not really
no subject
[ A beat passes. He's not the type to admit things like this so easily, so readily, but he feels like Suga needs to hear it: ]
And believe it or not, I don't go around calling just anyone a friend of mine.
no subject
Not really
[But... it does help to hear that, he thinks.]
no subject
[ huff, huff!!! ]
no subject
I don't want to make you and Yor worry
no subject
[ Here would be a good time for him to try to say something slightly more comforting, maybe clarify what it is about Suga that makes Tenn care as much as he does, but he is not really the person for that, sadly.
He hadn't noticed how his palms were clenched into fists at his sides. Not because he wants to hurt Suga, of course, but just...nerves and uncertainty. Two things he doesn't want to feel, being here. ]
You may think your life is worth throwing away, but I think a lot of people here would disagree with that.
no subject
I'll be more careful
[It's hard to think of himself as someone who has value. But - he can at least accept that he doesn't want to make people upset by disappearing.]
no subject
It's fine, I'm glad you made it out of there. Do you want anything to eat or drink?
