The number of murders increased in the span of one week, and so did the number of deceased people. Four people dying in the span of a week is a noticeable change, reducing your numbers to 25. Though the bakery has been cleaned up and fixed back to the state it was in originally, now that the specter of murder has fully settled in, perhaps some of those currently alive wonder how many will be around at the end of the new week.

It's fortunate now everybody can ponder it with a colorful change of scenery. Despite the situation everyone has been in, the world around them were plausible, even perhaps mundane to some extent. The scenery that unfolds beyond a canyon to the east drives home a point:

You're in a world far perhaps, beyond your wildest imagination.

It's a land of sweets. Wherever you look you can see something that's both full of sugar and joy. You could reach anywhere and you could get something that will make your mood soar and your day get better! After all, there's something for everyone! What wonders will you find if you search hard enough? This is a paradise for a sweet tooth! The sight, though, may make one question pop up:

Will this candy land be dirtied with blood? Only time will tell.

Stop it. Don't try to sacrifice yourself like this again. You should place more value on your life, Suga-san.

[ .........ah. This is the moment in which Tenn realizes that Suga really does not believe in himself. Or maybe he's just the kind of person who will readily throw himself into battle for the greater good. Something like that. ]

Logistically, if you went and got yourself killed like that, that'd be one less person to help us in investigations and trials. That'd be one more point in Hamelin's favor and another point for his enjoyment.

Listen. I know C-ta meant a lot to you, so I may be the last person you want to hear this from; but there's a reason why Yor-san wants you to learn how to protect yourself, and a reason why I'm upset with you now. People don't just care about others for no reason.

[ A beat passes. He's not the type to admit things like this so easily, so readily, but he feels like Suga needs to hear it: ]

And believe it or not, I don't go around calling just anyone a friend of mine.

[ Here would be a good time for him to try to say something slightly more comforting, maybe clarify what it is about Suga that makes Tenn care as much as he does, but he is not really the person for that, sadly.

He hadn't noticed how his palms were clenched into fists at his sides. Not because he wants to hurt Suga, of course, but just...nerves and uncertainty. Two things he doesn't want to feel, being here. ]

You may think your life is worth throwing away, but I think a lot of people here would disagree with that.

[He tries not to think too much about things that Riku was heavily involved in. It hurts when he does.]

[ He goes to fetch the pancakes, a bottle of syrup, some butter and utensils, and he eventually returns to Suga with a nice place of pancakes. ]

I couldn't heat them up as much as I wanted to, but here you go.

[...um, it's weirdly difficult to cut pancakes with one hand.]

[ Oh, right. Tenn sees the difficulty and starts slicing them up for him, Small pieces seems best. Butter comes next, and then he grabs the syrup. ]

Tell me when to stop.

[ He starts pouring it. Suga, do you like your pancakes really sweet...! ]

[He holds a hand up pretty soon. Only a little syrup, please!]

[ He nods and does, indeed, give Suga only a little. He might've gone a tad overboard but eh, it'll do...he hopes... ]
