CHAPTER 2
CHAPTER 2
The first chapter was over. The stakes and mechanics of the system you're in have been shown to their full extent, and regardless of how you feel about the Samidare and Zola's deaths, the story must go on.
Clean-up is done with a perfection that'd make you wonder if there ever was a murder on that rooftop in the residential district. Everything is spotless and repaired, making it look like nothing ever happened. If it wasn't for the absence of two people among your number, you'd think it had all been a bad dream. But it wasn't. The brutality of the incident and the execution make that plainly clear.
Now, with the opening of a new week, something else opens. Lands beyond the area you spent seven days in. What will the new week bring? Will it be another murder?
Keep turning the pages and find out.
[[Welcome to Week 2! Feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. However, please try to keep investigations to Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday! You can also privately contact Hamelin at your leisure.
In addition, a reminder that any Murder Proposals for this week are due by Tuesday 3:00 PM EST/12:00 PM PST! However, please note that you have the option of submitting murder proposals for a later week as well.]]

Hm. ]
Excuse me.
[ She turns and opens the door of the workshop and - tosses the gem as far as she can. Which is not very far, but she's satisfied. ]
Clumsy me, now it's thrown away. [ Like the trash it is. ] No, I don't want it back.

OK

[But tossing the old one may have been overkill?]

I don't think this is what I imagined when you said "protective charms," but you must be a master of your craft.
no subject
Even people who don't believe in what they're protecting people from will wear them
[So he's had to make sure they were pretty.]
no subject
[ She had just thought it was something like a general protection spell. ]

The forest near my village is haunted by a spirit who targets children

If it hadn't been for Shii-chan
I wouldn't have survived

I don't know what kind of person I'd be
[Is that good or bad? Probably a little of both.]

Shii-chan liked play fighting
But I never wanted to do that
I always wanted to pick flowers instead
So you might be right
no subject
[ So nothing wrong with picking flowers! ]
Lady Shii-chan sounds like the heroic type.
no subject
She would always stand up for me when other kids picked on me
She was my hero
[And he repaid that by...]

As far as I know
But I haven't seen her since we were 8
I won't ever see her again

The Kotori Obake makes promises with children
But you can't be made to keep the promise if you don't remember it
So her family erased her memories and took her far away
She'll never remember who I am
But she'll be safe
no subject
I'm so sorry. Remembering is painful - and if you're the only one who remembers, it's incredibly lonely, too.
no subject
But it's fine
It's my fault any of that happened
So it's only natural I should suffer for it
