CHAPTER 2
CHAPTER 2
The first chapter was over. The stakes and mechanics of the system you're in have been shown to their full extent, and regardless of how you feel about the Samidare and Zola's deaths, the story must go on.
Clean-up is done with a perfection that'd make you wonder if there ever was a murder on that rooftop in the residential district. Everything is spotless and repaired, making it look like nothing ever happened. If it wasn't for the absence of two people among your number, you'd think it had all been a bad dream. But it wasn't. The brutality of the incident and the execution make that plainly clear.
Now, with the opening of a new week, something else opens. Lands beyond the area you spent seven days in. What will the new week bring? Will it be another murder?
Keep turning the pages and find out.
[[Welcome to Week 2! Feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. However, please try to keep investigations to Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday! You can also privately contact Hamelin at your leisure.
In addition, a reminder that any Murder Proposals for this week are due by Tuesday 3:00 PM EST/12:00 PM PST! However, please note that you have the option of submitting murder proposals for a later week as well.]]

[...for guild work. they are the protag party so they're definitely doing dangerous things, but that's not important!!!]
no subject
That's good to hear
[He believes you, unfortunately.]

The guilds are home to quite a few people who were once from the Empire... and the people left behind after the Great War. I think he may be one of the orphaned kids and he was taken in by a guild... but that's just a rumor. I don't know him personally, so I couldn't say.
[Does... does that help any...??]

Sorry for fussing
I just get worried easily
no subject
No, no, it's okay! That simply wasn't something that had occurred to me - that different worlds treat these sorts of things differently. Where I'm from, sixteen is basically an adult. So while I certainly am worried about Droite and Gauche, I do have faith that they'll be just fine until I can return.
[That much isn't something he needs to question at all, really.]

I hope they like the brooches
no subject
[...Oh yeah, speaking of which...]
Where did you find these, anyway?
no subject
There's a cave
If you make it through the passages you'll find a hoard of precious metal and gems
I don't think I even made a dent
no subject
[...in the evening, when he will not burn to death tyvm!!!]
no subject
It doesn't seem dangerous at all
Just try not to get lost

I would be upset if you disappeared

That does make me feel better
[Dislikes: breaking promises.]
no subject
Of course! I've had to navigate the desert back home before, and I didn't get lost there! So don't fret too much, I'll be just fine~
no subject
I hope you didn't have to do it too often

["Leviathan's Claw" doesn't exactly tell him much...]

[Almost.]

Blastia are power sources. Small ones can be used by people to strengthen their capabilities in combat - that's how we can fight monsters, after all! - while larger ones can be used to power our lights and handle running water and the like. The cities are all protected by a barrier blastia; this keeps the monsters out and is certainly a very important use of it!
So as you can see, they're essential for everyone, and that makes them quite profitable.

You probably have very good job security
