After a party with many festivities and particularly eye catching attractions, many will have retired for the night before sleep takes them. It's a blessing even if this is routine by now, because after everything you've been through, dying from frostbite would be an anti-climatic way to go.

By the time you wake the sun is fully in the sky, it's light serving as your guide for the events that happened the night before.

The time is 8:00 AM.

[Oooh yeah, that's a solid plan. He doesn't wanna get smacked by it going off or something.

He'll get in close and peer around, but not touch anything just yet. Is there anything currently in it to be launched?]

[Nope! Looks like there's nothing currently prepared for launch. That's a relief!

Careful when checking that area, though. Just a mere two feet away from the bucket where you place what you want to launch there's a thread between two quite long nails embedded into the ground. Watch out where you move your feet]

[...huh. That's interesting.

He carefully steps over to it to take a look. Is there anything else attached to the thread? And how taut does the thread look between the nails?]

[Nothing attached! As for how taut, well, it's very taut. This thread is extended to its maximum capacity, that's for sure]

[Hmmmm. He doesn't like the idea he's getting from this.

Is there anything else near the birdapult's vicinity?]

[faentasy]

[There indeed is something!

Before Raven moves over there, though, it's worth noting the counterweight the catapult has right now is a number of sizable mallets from the workshop, all of them with ropes tied around them. Hm!]

[An interesting choice, that's for sure... He'll definitely have to keep it in mind.

So what do we have going forward?]

[So! Going forward!

Behold, Raven: fake arms. There sure are fake arms lying here]

This is gettin' too weird fer poor Raven.

[I-Is there anything particularly noteworthy about them other than the obvious? Any damage to them? Or blood...? Why would there be blood on fake arms? I don't know, why are there fake arms in the first place?]

[Nope! They seem to be fully intact. No blood, no damages, nothing other than some gnarly looking arms.

And by gnarly I mean gnarled.

These certainly don't look like anything Raven has seen in his stay here in the game. Potential sources such as the mannequin in the tailor shop look nothing like these ones]

[This is so bizarre. Raven can only imagine what they're here for. But he'll be sure to bring them to the trial...with the birdapult... Ugh. He's getting tired just thinking of dragging that thing with him.

Before he moves on though, he'll try to see if he can make out what they could be made of. And by gnarly, do they look constructed or something...?]

[These seem to be made of some synthetic material for decent realism. The size is fitting for adult arms, after all.

As for gnarled, it's gnarled as in 'knobbly, rough, and twisted, especially with age.'. Looks like the arms of an older person, pretty much. Bony-looking.]

[Oh!! Got it. Interesting... Those would definitely make for a strange mannequin. Raven wonders where the heck they could've come from.

All right, with the arms in tow, he'll see what else he can find around the birdapult. Any other weird things sticking out...?]

[Well, if he's staying near the birdapult perhaps it's worth noting the ropes around the mallets forming the counterweight look quite worn. Hm!

Other than that it seems there's nothing else near the birdapult. However...

Over there, where Huaisang was looking at Pericles' body, there's something on the ground.]

[Hmmmm indeed. He's going to have to be really careful moving this thing, that's for sure.

Hoo boy, what do we have over by where Pericles was?]

[faentasy]

[Fibers. Grayish fibers, looking quite fuzzy. They're all sticking together in a row, forming a chunk of sort of rigid fibers parallel with each other.

It's...hard to figure out what exactly this is, from sight, but it exists.]

[Weird... Well, he'll take them along with him so they can puzzle it out as a group.

Anything else amiss, or is he good to go?]
