Almost half of the non-fairy population of Aira Niluc is gone.

Some may be feeling the absence of their fellow participants in this story. Others will stay focused on the wish they want to get. What never changes is that the story goes on, bringing you closer to the end -- and to another chapter. What will it bring this time?

Snow!

Snow as far as the eye can see, a cold blanket covering the new area. Some winter amenities are now available, ready for perusal! But that's not all there's to find: everyone also will find reminders of their homes, of people they know, of happier times.

Of their wishes.

Who will try to reach their wish this time?

At least the snowball was very light? Dainty hands, yo. ]

[Jack is totally going to scuttle behind that original snowdrift that Huaisang has reinforced -- it almost looks like a snow fort now, perhaps, though probably not as sturdy as something more people could have made. Because again, dainty hands! But it'll do.

Peeking over the 'wall', he grins.]

Marcus is much stronger than us, after all. All's fair in snow and war!

[mirrite]

Well, now I really don't have any reason to hold back. Thanks for that!

[He bends down again, this time to make the Mother of All Snowballs that's closer in size to a volleyball than a baseball.

... and since he is in fact quite strong, he's just going to hurl it right at that snowdrift with considerable force behind it in the hopes of maybe knocking a piece off.]

[ Oh my god...

Huaisang watches as it does hit the snowdrift as he's picking up a snowball...

He'll hurl another snowball at Marcus, but yes, a piece of it DEFINITELY got knocked off since Marcus had made one that size. Jesus Chalupa. ]

Jack-...er, do you think we're going to be in trouble? I'm a little scared right now!

[ Going to be backing up now. ]

Ah! Huaisang! Double, double!

[Wow?? When under siege by (apparently) snow volleyballs, Jack is quick enough to move -- though he's only been able to speed-assemble maybe two-and-a-half measly and lopsided snowballs and also dropped at least one part of his ally's name in his haste. Sometimes you just have to abbreviate literally everything!!!!!

Just going to yeet all of his two-and-a-half snowballs over the wall to try and slow down the advent of Snowmageddon. It still hits the wall, yes, but the good thing is... now he has a lot of snow??]

Don't let up, all the snow he's throwing is just making the fort stronger!!

[He is going to start packing the fort once more, though it's a little shapeless right now, it's starting to build up height...]

[Oh it's on now. Marcus is just going to ignore this onslaught of half-hearted snowballs aimed at him (it's not like they're actually... doing much anyway...) and make another monster snowball since the first one seemed to be so effective! That accomplished, he takes aim, trying to hit the same spot as before. Maybe he can just bring the whole thing down if he does enough damage to that one point...

He can do this all day, dunno about YOU guys!]

[ Huaisang began to patch up the fort some more... and the snowball slots into the same spot as before! As another piece gets damaged, he uses his wits to pick up the mess of snowball that fell around it and patch it back into the spot before ducking back right behind said fort again.

That being said, Huaisang is a dainty flower and does not have Marcus' endurance. He's not sure if he can do this all day! ]

I'm...I'm trying! He's practically a force of nature!

Aha, this must be what it is like, fighting a blizzard?

[Jack is making snowballs as fast as he possibly can and using a good amount of them just to stave off Marcus' monster siege cannons or whatever you're supposed to call those mutant weather events that are supposedly manmade. Scary, scary!

But nevertheless he somehow seems like he's enjoying himself? And he's gradually getting better at making these snowballs...]

But I'm really rather good with cold weather, you know!

[He doesn't seem to be flagging just yet!]
