Almost half of the non-fairy population of Aira Niluc is gone.

Some may be feeling the absence of their fellow participants in this story. Others will stay focused on the wish they want to get. What never changes is that the story goes on, bringing you closer to the end -- and to another chapter. What will it bring this time?

Snow!

Snow as far as the eye can see, a cold blanket covering the new area. Some winter amenities are now available, ready for perusal! But that's not all there's to find: everyone also will find reminders of their homes, of people they know, of happier times.

Yeah, I guess I have.

[ Makoto smiles at that, looking a little proud despite himself. Lucky for Phil, the mulled wine isn't all that strong. The brandy Makoto's offering him with a gesture of the bottle would change that, but even Makoto doesn't look like he expects Phil to take up him up on it. ]

How much have you gotten to try?

Whatever you've brought to our gatherings, mostly... unfortunately I missed the cake this week, but the stir fry a few weeks ago was particularly good.

[ He'd fully intended to drop by for that Christmas cake, but had... sort of ended up getting distracted by reflections and will-o-wisps while exploring that day.

...Well, maybe he'll put in just a tiny bit of that brandy. ]

Your bartending skills are always appreciated as well, though. I know Marcus likes having something productive that he can do for everyone like that, but I'm glad he doesn't have to do everything by himself here.

[ Makoto tips as much brandy as Phil allows into his mug before settling back with his own. ]

We've got that in common though, that's for sure. I did this kinda thing back home. Well, sort of. But I've learned a lot here too.

Well, we certainly have all kinds to learn new things from...

[ He picks up his mug and just holds it in his hands for a bit to warm them. ]

Was that for work, or just something you did for friends?

[ Makoto nods, that's for sure. Swordfighting sure wasn't on his to do list before this place. ]

Work, mostly. I wasn't a bartender or anything, but I made drinks for my boss sometimes. The rest I learned here.

[ Makoto tilts his head, sips at his own drink. ]
