Almost half of the non-fairy population of Aira Niluc is gone.

Some may be feeling the absence of their fellow participants in this story. Others will stay focused on the wish they want to get. What never changes is that the story goes on, bringing you closer to the end -- and to another chapter. What will it bring this time?

Snow!

Snow as far as the eye can see, a cold blanket covering the new area. Some winter amenities are now available, ready for perusal! But that's not all there's to find: everyone also will find reminders of their homes, of people they know, of happier times.

Of their wishes.

But on the other hand...he'll look at the gathering of charred marshmellows. He has eyes, so he thinks that's more than two just by a glance. ]

...Wow. Well, it can't hurt to try one before the night ends, assuming you haven't already.

[ In retrospect, he's definitely accidentally dropped a marshmallow or two into a bonfire earlier when he first attempted to try to cook one by the fire. ]

Did you get a chance to see that weird thing Jack had by the cabins, by the way?

I'll do my best to describe it, but...he put a huge circular candy thing [ lemon lifesaver ] with a collection of chocolate coins surrounding this gummy-person-shaped candy? I'm not even sure if he's intending for it to be a decoration or what?

[Is he going to set it on fire??? That's a lot of work just to set something on fire but like. what is the point of it. This is going to drive him mad.]

Yep. Though, it also seems like everyone else's been able to kind of settle in and kind of enjoy themselves at the party? Or something.

[ Even Yeager with the marshmallows (?) He's not sure what to call it, honestly, but it's all good here. ]

I guess I'd take that as something in our favor, that we can even still do this sort of gathering successfully.

I do think it would have been better if we weren't all the way out here in the freezing cold... but I won't complain too much!

[There's something kind of nice about these gatherings, even though every week we'll end up having to deal with at least a few more deaths.]

[ Rip Raven indeed. Not like he should be talking about him being old because he's like, just two years younger than him. ]

Of course! He complains about how dreadful doing any work is on his tired old bones, but the cold? Oh, it's terrible for such an old-timer like him!

Can you imagine? I would hate to be that old.
