Almost half of the non-fairy population of Aira Niluc is gone.

Some may be feeling the absence of their fellow participants in this story. Others will stay focused on the wish they want to get. What never changes is that the story goes on, bringing you closer to the end -- and to another chapter. What will it bring this time?

Snow!

Snow as far as the eye can see, a cold blanket covering the new area. Some winter amenities are now available, ready for perusal! But that's not all there's to find: everyone also will find reminders of their homes, of people they know, of happier times.

[ Makoto looks away, sighs. Just a glance to make sure no one else is paying attention to them. ]

... It's probably childish.

But I was thinking if... if it weren't for this whole game, all of us here probably could've been friends. Maybe if other circumstances had brought us all together?

I’ve been thinking the same thing.

[ … ]

It might be naive, but I don’t think it’s a bad thought. And it’s not like the two of us aren’t friends, anyway.

[ That makes him look back, reassuring smile back in place. ]

Of course we are.

[ A pause, taking a big swig of his mulled wine. ]

But I mean even some of the people that are already gone, and I... just hope this isn't the last night all of us get to be together like this. Not knowing... that part sucks.

I get it.

[ Now it’s his turn to flash a reassuring smile at Makoto. ]

No matter what happens, though, you’ve got me. We’re going to make it through this together.

[ He sounds incredibly certain of this, too. He’ll even go ahead and reach out to place a hand on his shoulder. ]

So…hang on to that hope that we’ll all be okay.

[ Makoto doesn't tense at all for once. Tenn's presence, the solid warmth on his shoulder, steadies him even through the layers. ]

You've got me too, Tenn. So let's hang on to that hope together.

[ He moves to pat the hand on his shoulder. There's a brief pause before he remembers what he was doing before Tenn showed up. Finishing the whine and -- ]
