Almost half of the non-fairy population of Aira Niluc is gone.

Some may be feeling the absence of their fellow participants in this story. Others will stay focused on the wish they want to get. What never changes is that the story goes on, bringing you closer to the end -- and to another chapter. What will it bring this time?

Snow!

Snow as far as the eye can see, a cold blanket covering the new area. Some winter amenities are now available, ready for perusal! But that's not all there's to find: everyone also will find reminders of their homes, of people they know, of happier times.

I'm sorry to hear that. [ She means it, it's not just a platitude. ] I would think that's not easy to have to see again.

[ Well, she can, sort of. No one got killed because of her, though, so... ]

They're encouraging. That's likely the hardest part about it - when people have died because of something you did, or something you didn't do, the last thing you want to see is them still wholeheartedly putting their faith in you. Trusting you to do right by them, wanting you to finish what you started together and what they're no longer alive to see through.

You have my sympathies. For the one you love.

Thank you. [ pauses. ] I think I understand what you mean by that. For all that it cost to get to where you are, the fact that they're able to seemingly be supportive despite what you feel or may have done is... it feels insulting, almost.

[ She can't even remember what he looks like, anymore, so he's always turned away. But she gets that same feeling as she does whenever she sees the other person and... she's not sure what to make of it. ]
