Almost half of the non-fairy population of Aira Niluc is gone.

Some may be feeling the absence of their fellow participants in this story. Others will stay focused on the wish they want to get. What never changes is that the story goes on, bringing you closer to the end -- and to another chapter. What will it bring this time?

Snow!

Snow as far as the eye can see, a cold blanket covering the new area. Some winter amenities are now available, ready for perusal! But that's not all there's to find: everyone also will find reminders of their homes, of people they know, of happier times.

Of their wishes.

[He'll find Jack humming quietly to himself and sitting on a large ice root in that particular section, seemingly not actually making any effort to get out just yet. It takes a moment for his head to pop up, as though registering someone else actually around.

... After a moment he blinks and brushes some snow out of his bangs. Looks like he's been here for a while? Maybe he's just a snow bird.]

Oh. Well, I was thinking about whether I'd be able to climb the walls, but with everything made of ice, maybe it's harder to cheat at mazes that way...

[That's totally what he was thinking about!]

At the least, you're not lost even deeper in. The decorations are a little...

Ja, ja, certainly! I did end up in there for a little while, but thankfully I've found my way back!

Uncursed Ants aside -- timeline-wise, they've both certainly been in here for a while, though it doesn't look like Jack has spent too much time rolling in the snow yet... just sitting in it, apparently. He looks perfectly happy, if a little frozen to the root.

Ah! So you've found your way out somewhat... that's reassuring. I've made a few circles now between that part and this part, so I just gave up for a bit and took a rest.

I keep thinking I see people coming... but you are the first one to actually talk back.

I can't exactly say I'm surprised, it seems that this week we're dealing with... rather unfortunate reminders of home. So hopefully we won't run into any more on the way out!
