Almost half of the non-fairy population of Aira Niluc is gone.

Some may be feeling the absence of their fellow participants in this story. Others will stay focused on the wish they want to get. What never changes is that the story goes on, bringing you closer to the end -- and to another chapter. What will it bring this time?

Snow!

Snow as far as the eye can see, a cold blanket covering the new area. Some winter amenities are now available, ready for perusal! But that's not all there's to find: everyone also will find reminders of their homes, of people they know, of happier times.

[ Tenn's seen one or two wisps himself, and in the midst of following one, he sees Makoto heading in his direction, chasing one, too. Tenn pulls his attention away from the wisp in favor of walking towards his friend, because Makoto looks like he's in a really, really good mood.

It's nice to see that look on his face. Tenn hopes he can see it more often.

He approaches quietly, hands tucked into his pockets. ]

Hey.

[ Makoto starts, turning towards the familiar voice with a blink. There's no point in rearranging his expression for him, so it remains warm when it's redirected in his friend's direction. ]

Hey. [ The fire near him disappears before he has a chance to return to it, but that doesn't dampen his mood any. ]

Did you get to see any of these?

[ He nods. ]

I did. Just one so far, though, but it was pleasant.

[ He won't elaborate, though, unless prompted to. He's more curious to see what's gotten Makoto into a good mood. ]

You must have seen something nice.

Yeah. They're mostly from when I was kid. Seeing my mom again like this... I'll be honest, it's nice.

[ A pause, before he looks over to Tenn. ]

What about yours?

[ Ah. ]

It's nice that you got to see her again. It seems like you had a good relationship with her.

As for me, I saw my colleagues from home. Including Riku.

I did.

[ Makoto nods, smiling softly. He's used to missing his mom, but Tenn's are fresher wounds. ]

I'm glad you got to see them too.
[ ... ] How long have you been out here?

A little too long.

[ He grins, because it's true. From ice skating to making snowmen to looking at wisps, he's really been living it up in winter wonderland. ]

Sorry if I interrupted you, by the way. You looked really happy, so I wanted to know what was going on.

[ After a shake of his head-- ]

No, it's okay. I could probably spend more time out here than I should. [ A new wisp catches his eye, as if to prove a point, but he looks back to Tenn. It's pretty cold out here actually... ]

Anywhere else you wanna check out? You know, inside.

Sure. I saw a cabin nearby, we can rest there for now.

[ He gestures at Makoto to follow him. ]

Okay.

[ Makoto agrees without thinking, following happily and ignoring the temptation of another memory. ]

[ He puts his hands in his pockets again and looks up at the clouds a little wistfully. ]

I can tell you what I saw in one of the wisps, if you want.

[ Makoto mirrors him, hands slipping into his pockets as he falls in step with Tenn, his tone lighter than it's been lately. ]

Mm. Yeah, I want to hear it.

[ He'll even trade if Tenn insists. ]

Sure. Can I hear one of your stories in return?

[ Yep, he's gonna ask for a trade!! ]

[ Makoto laughs, a soft exhale of one. Anyone but Tenn would've gotten more resistance. ]

Of course I do.

[ He says it effortlessly before his gaze goes back up to the sky, to the quiet snowfall. ]

Not long before I arrived here, TRIGGER and IDOLiSH7 were openers for a Re:vale concert. A lot happened that day, but it ended in a party with all of us. Ryuu was so drunk that he tried to pour me a cup of beer that overflowed.

It wasn't anything interesting, but it was a nice memory. One that I look back on fondly.

[ Makoto follows his gaze as Tenn speaks, as if he can picture it despite only knowing the faces of a few of them. TRIGGER, Riku, though it's hard for him to picture Ryunosuke without his outfit from the DVD cover spilling beer on Tenn. ]

Sometimes those are the best ones though. The little moments.

[ Quiet follows as he sifts through the number of memories he revisited, followed by a thoughtful hum. ]

My mom taught me Chinese when I was younger. Actually, I never wanted to learn it. [ His laugh this time is wistful, less soft but not lacking in fondness. ] I managed though. That's all the memory was, just us speaking in Chinese.

It's not lame. I didn't know you knew how to speak Chinese.

[ Makoto, you're full of surprises, aren't you!! He's pleasantly surprised, though. ]

Learning another language can be challenging but very rewarding. I had to learn English before I went to study abroad, so I know how tedious the learning process can be.

Do you think of that as a good memory, now?

Yeah, I really do. She was... a really good person.

Oh, really? You speak English too?

[ Oh no.

Is Tenn ... ready for Makoto's English? I don't think anyone is ready for this. Makoto clears his throat. ]

Where did you study abroad?

[ Oh-!!!

...Pretend there's an answer to this question because I cannot for the life of me figure out where, exactly, Tenn studied abroad. ]

Technically, I'm supposed to be a university student. I have an open spot at a university, but obviously, I won't be attending anytime soon.

[ Only if you pretend Makoto knows that information now too. ]

What would you want to study?

I considered medicine for a bit, but I think I like my job too much to back out of it now.

[ Listen, he loves being an idol. You can pry that career from his cold, dead hands!! ]
