Afterparty IV: The Isle of Repeaching Mistakes

[Another week, and another series of disasters and deceptions leading to the verdict; this time the web is wider and deeper and darker, as they're all slowly ensnared, as the fine points each of them make up in this cloud of connections is pulled ever tighter. Is it a noose, tightening around their neck, or is it a string wrapped around their finger to pull them forward?
Here on Onigashima under cover of night, no one can perhaps tell, and ever fewer people are asking.
For the first time in a little while Jack's throwing himself wholeheartedly into gathering people -- he's not forcing anyone to be there, but he drops words and written directions and cajoles at the tree slide if he must, mostly to make sure the little get-together is actually staffed. The island itself is a chore to get to, but may be the lake around it can provide respite for those who enjoy the boats and can ignore the possible body (bodies?) floating down there.
Festival food and regular drink is a-plentiful, though so much of it is still so foreign to many of them (Jack is pretty sure most of it is good, but); it'll do, because they've also brought like half the bar with them? Or at least enough to supply the guests and their two bartenders. Marcus and Makoto are here to provide drink and drink with you, whichever comes first, and honestly who can blame them?
Otherwise, there are always the festival games and fashion, so perhaps that too is a good distraction. Just don't fall in the lake, y'all.]

Anyway, Suga is... here. He's mostly sipping fruit juice and keeping to himself - today hasn't been a good one for anyone, but definitely not any of the members of the sleepover. If he notices anyone looking at him he'll give them a tiny wave.
Later in the evening after someone's ferried him back to the other side, you can find him at the fountain, writing a letter.]

What're you writing, Suga?

Since this is the first place we found their letters

[ He looks down at the paper fish swimming freely in the water. He still doesn't know if the magic that animates them actually gives them any sort of sentience, and it probably doesn't... but they look happy. ]
...Well, maybe one more. I've got a red one and a blue one in my room, so... a green one might be nice.

[It's a day for ponderous silences; he doesn't finish the thought for a little while after that, too preoccupied with the same activity Alexei is doing -- Jack arrived somewhere in between one fish and the next, and is doing his level best to catch up, himself.
Catch, release. Catch, and release. Catch, catch, release.
Maybe he's just being discerning about coloring -- occasionally he puts the more brightly colored fish to a side, right next to the drink he carefully set on the ground when he arrived. He's not nearly as skilled as Alexei at this, though there's the tipsiness to account for when he outright misses fish entirely... But there's still a perhaps surprising amount of coordination to his movements all the same. Limber fingers aren't just good for the piano, but it also may be that he's practiced.]
Watching them is soothing, I think. If we set up a larger display in the lounge... maybe it will help.

He's spending more time just swirling his drink and picking up handfuls of the festival foods, inspecting them curiously. He still hasn't spent all that much time on Onigashima proper apart from that one day due to the travel distance, so this is still very novel. He's in a darker theme this week, continuing his more subdued colors but with a more striking masked addition slung askew over his head, so it's easy to see him coming.]
If you'd like to try some of these games... they all seem to be themed around these masks. I wonder why.
[Otherwise you can find him some time later curled up wherever there's seating and wherever the makeshift bar has been set up (probably one of the stalls, or two, however many are needed to get some real seating in). He's down most of a drink and looking like he's down a good deal of energy as well, as he's just got chin resting on hands and is watching a small flurry of paper fish swim serenely in a bag of water.]
festival foods?
Huaisang had accidentally tripped into one of the stands, sending some stuff over. Luckily no food was ruined because it was a ring toss stand (so there went the rings people could toss), but he was flailing as he was over the counter somehow to the point where he was not quite on the ground but too far over to easily push himself back over.
And then he'll just lean the rest of the way and collapse into the spot where there should be someone directing the attraction (but there wasn't) in an undignified heap.
...after that, he'll poke his head up. The cause may be because he's wearing a mask he's not used to...of a boy, that was. Which he'll take off now, shaking his head. ]
H-hopefully no one saw that...

He has his bow and arrows with him, and he's taking shots at the oni targets. His aim is very good, judging by the amount of headshots he's getting. In between shots, he'll stop to munch on his takoyaki, but otherwise he's just...shooting things, with a distant look on his face. This is apparently his new favorite place to take his mind off of things. Better than the bar, right?]

Marcus has probably been there for about three minutes already by the time Phil arrives, still a little out of breath even though the trip was entirely downhill. He comes over to stand close beside him, his steps lighter than they have been for much of this week — though that's been the case pretty much any time he's been here on this island. ]
Aside from simply being an island, it hardly has anything in common with Odanse... but I still think of it every time I look at the docks out here.
[ He sighs, crossing his arms as a cool breeze blows. ]
I know this is rich coming from me, but you should really try to get some rest tonight.

[Jack dips in and out of the... bar stalls? Whatever they've converted these festival stalls into -- they're convenient given that they've got even more food variety than the bar, so perhaps this being their new liquor-laden haunt for the time being isn't so bad.
The night air is refreshing at any rate, for those who are overindulging.
He's somewhere in between at this point: flushed from roaming and at least a few drinks but just on the edge between tipsy and properly drunk. It's enough to where he's staying here for the moment, head pillowed on his arms and contemplating the little bit at the bottom of his glass like an oracle.]
