The story presses onward as you gather in this now familiar "courtroom" to deliberate the deaths of two more of your number. By now there's more space for everyone with the population dwindling down to twenty, and by this weekend's end it will dip ever further. But maybe in a time like this more space is needed, though one most always be mindful of the clock.

Adora and Norton Campbell are dead, and the price must be repaid.

You can't even begin to narrow it down? That is unfortunate.

Assuming we are excluding the other members of the sleepover from suspicion, we still have a large pool left over: Alexei, Edelgard, Jack, Junko, Koto, Marcus, Morgan, Huaisang, Philip, Raven, Rika, yourself and myself.

Out of these, I doubt Alexei was friends with Adora?

I don't know about the others except myself, however.

We spoke a few times and sparred, but that was pretty much the extent of it.

I made her a couple of drinks after the trial last week and that's it. We never really spoke otherwise.

Adora and I...didn't really talk. She seemed very trusting though, and if the food was just left out for a random target...I don't know if there's a good way to tell from that.

I think most of us wouldn't eat random food on a Thursday night
And if it's a random target, there's no guarantee that the person who's awake is someone you can actually successfully kill with your chosen method

I do not think it was a random target. Why would the chairs have been in front of your door? How would the culprit know she had come from that door?

I was assuming Adora had put them there to keep us safe

To avert suspicion from your group maybe? But that seems like an awful lot of effort.

If it was Adora, she had about 20 minutes between everybody falling asleep around her and meeting her end - I am not sure why she would barricade the ones who aren't targets though, when she could likely tell she was one.

Up until ten minutes ago we thought that a culprit getting too close to a sleeping person would wake them up even if they weren't targets
So maybe that was why?

Not ta mention they would know about the sleepover... That's why I was wonderin' if anyone else knew you guys would be in there.

That timeline makes absolutely no sense.

Barricade the door and then eat poisoned food, whatever it was? Cyanide takes minutes to be effective, so it would have to have been consumed after the barricade was constructed?

... It is possible that she barricaded the door each time she left the room that night, to be safe, as we have no warning when the enchanted sleep begins.

But that does not explain why she consumed the cookies afterward, unless she simply didn't... think that it was possible to be attacked in that way.

I doubt it would have been Adora. If the culprit was close to anyone who they knew to be at that sleepover and wanted to keep them safe, it would be worth the effort to take suspicion off of them.

I don't know if I agree about her being very trusting. She was earnest and friendly but I don't think she was quite stupid enough to eat poisoned cookies left out on the night where people have died each week, especially since she'd be awake and should have known what that means.

I have not seen this chair barricade for myself, so I will have to trust the judgement of those who were present on whether or not someone could have went inside with it in place.

If two people in the sleepover fell asleep
And two people were awake
And you know that somewhere there is a potential murderer awake and it's not you
I think even Adora would be on her guard?
But there wasn't any evidence of a fight near our room

I've spoken with her a few times, and she was rather friendly, yes.
