Execution

Like clockwork, the melody calls you together for the execution, although the circumstances are perhaps a bit better, if you can even call it that. Those who choose to attend will see an odd sight: two winged beings present in a magical bubble: one is Lucifer of course, six wings folded like they were much of yesterday and the other is a cream colored mourning dove, Nageki.

The mirrors and scenery is much like it was the week before, but—the air feels slightly heavier today? Maybe today is just a day for oddities.

[His voice is quiet and ice cold:]

He won't kill us himself. If that was what he wanted, he would've killed me when I attacked him.

You weren't interrupting his story then!

[That brings him up short, his expression twisting into something agonized as he looks back and forth between Phil and Nageki.]

Phil--!! He's going to die for the sake of a murderer!

[biqe]

It's still his decision to make.

And if anyone were to die for my sake, they'd be doing the same.

[mirrite]

[Phil's right. He knows Phil is right, and yet...!]

And you think that makes it any better?!
