[Oh there are some disturbances alright! Namely flour.

Careful where you step, Adora: there's flour on the ground!. Well, but the flour itself may not be the important part in that disturbance.

The important part probably it's forming a silhouette in the vague shape of...something. You may want to take a closer look]

[ well, she will slide around the flour-- no use making erroneous footprints. for now, she's gonna get a closer look at that shape? ]

[Alright! Let's try to make some sense from this shape.

Well, it's hard to decipher what it's supposed to be, though. It's long, for one. As long as Adora's tall, more or less. It's also wide enough for her to lie down in it. The shape itself is irregular, the contour wavy and strange, without a clear indication of what exactly it's supposed to be...

...hm!

There's one definite oddity, though, right on one end of the shape. It won't help find out what left this strange silhouette, but it definitely will get Adora's attention.

You don't see floating dollops of flour every day, after all.]

can she. can she wave over and under the dollops, to see what's sustaining them? ]

[Funny thing, Adora, you certainly can. Adora's hand passes cleanly both over the dollops -- and under them, although with some difficulty. They're floating relatively close to the ground, the lowest one just above of her hand when she passes it by.

She won't feel anything at all! ]

[adorabilities]

[ what happens if she... tries to poke the flour... ]

[faentasy]

[The flour is poked. Touch any of the dollops, Adora, you'll get the same result:

The flour sticks to her finger.

Now she has flour on her fingertip. The rest of the dollops still float there, without moving in the slightest]

[ like it's magnetized?

she frowns a little bit, and looks around the room, before going to an edge of the flour, away from everything, and poking that with her finger. how much does that flour stick to her hands? ]

[faentasy]

[Experiments with flour! She will find...

...it doesn't seem there's anything off about it. Flour is stubborn and doesn't stick easily, so there's still plenty left on the ground, but she also gets flour on her hands like she may have expected to happen.

All in all, seems like that's not particularly strang. Feels like common flour, too]

[adorabilities]

[ alrighty then! also, question about the blood to flour ratio-- is the flour and blood separated? and how much of each is on the floor in question? ]

[faentasy]

[The ratio is...0:1. Meaning for every gram of flour, there's no blood at all.

In other words: looks like all Adora is finding is flour. No drops of blood at all!]

[adorabilities]

[ thank you! is there anything that could have caused that pattern-- does it look drawn? or just... weird.

And then she will look for anything else. ]

[In this house there's nothing that could have caused the pattern, it seems! At least from what Adora can see at first glance -- there's furniture around, after all.

Like, for example, closets and empty shelves. They look like quite sturdy furniture]

[ so it looks like something broke and left a strange imprint? just to make sure! ]

[Impossible to tell for sure, I'm afraid! The contour is too vague to really tell for sure how such a silhouette may have happened]

[ things that are designed to drive Adora crazy: that. alright. WELL, is anything else amiss? ]

[At first glance looks like there isn't! Other than the flour on the ground, this house is neat and clean.

Looks like you'll have to do a bit of metaphorical digging, Adora!]

[ well, maybe it's time to investigate the furniture a little bit more? ]

[faentasy]

[Aha! Time to mess around with furniture and check stuff!

The furniture in general seems quite suited for life in the desert -- it's sturdy and well-built. Once she opens a dresser, though, she finds some decidedly strange stuff:

It's a bundle of something made with fabric. Ready to get your hands dirty, Adora?]

[adorabilities]

[ oh, absolutely. time to pick up this piece of fabric? ]

[faentasy]

[When Adora grabs it she immediately can feel it's thick fabric! Bunched up in a loose ball. As soon as her fingers dig into it she feels flour, but something feels off about this...

If she looks at her hands without opening the bunched up object yet, she'll see that amidst the flour staining her hands there's a little bit of blood. Just enough to be noticeable. It's not a great omen for what may be found when this fabric is opened up, all things considered]

[ oh.

deep inhale-- and then she opens the fabric the rest of the way ]

[Alright, here it goes, Adora. It's not pretty.

This is definitely a curtain, with quite the considerable amount of flour on it, so much Adora probaly will end with hands all coated in white. As if that wasn't enough, some of the flour is clumped up and bloody. It's kind of gross to look at, really.

That's without mentioning the blood without flour that stains a bit of the curtain, located closer to the edge of the curtain. It's not really that much blood, but when the rest of the curtain is all white and somewhat red, something that very obviously is blood with nothing else on it stands out like a sore thumb]

[ where does it look like the curtains came from? ]

[These curtains look like they probably came from this house, indeed. Thank goodness for straightforward findings, eh?]
