Early to bed, early to rise. At least it seems that's how it was for you last night, no matter what you were doing. Given the events of the past weekend, you might find your mind jumping to conclusions.
[Aha! Time to mess around with furniture and check stuff!
The furniture in general seems quite suited for life in the desert -- it's sturdy and well-built. Once she opens a dresser, though, she finds some decidedly strange stuff:
It's a bundle of something made with fabric. Ready to get your hands dirty, Adora?]
[When Adora grabs it she immediately can feel it's thick fabric! Bunched up in a loose ball. As soon as her fingers dig into it she feels flour, but something feels off about this...
If she looks at her hands without opening the bunched up object yet, she'll see that amidst the flour staining her hands there's a little bit of blood. Just enough to be noticeable. It's not a great omen for what may be found when this fabric is opened up, all things considered]
This is definitely a curtain, with quite the considerable amount of flour on it, so much Adora probaly will end with hands all coated in white. As if that wasn't enough, some of the flour is clumped up and bloody. It's kind of gross to look at, really.
That's without mentioning the blood without flour that stains a bit of the curtain, located closer to the edge of the curtain. It's not really that much blood, but when the rest of the curtain is all white and somewhat red, something that very obviously is blood with nothing else on it stands out like a sore thumb]
[ and then her next idea... is to inspect for any patterns that she can find. prints, partial prints, or signs that the curtain was spattered on or something like it-- just to give a sense of what it was used for ]
[Ah, there's the place where the curtain presumably was. There seems like there's nothing? Other than the obvious absence of curtain, which is certainly noticeable.
That said, when Adora goes to take a look, if she's attentive enough looking from the corner of her eye she may see something on the floor of the dresser...
[If Adora has ever been in the palace kitchens she indeed will remember having seen bags of flour just like this one! Score!
Looking inside it seems the bag is almost empty. There still is some flour inside -- white, pristine flour, without any blood or debris. Presumably still edible, but who would eat stuff found during an investigation, eh?]
[Doesn't look like it, chief! Careful when carrying evidence if you'll take any of it with you, arriving to the trial all full of flour can't be a fun time!]
[Upon sudden closer examination prompted by a desire to correct a modly mistake, Adora will find in the kitchen of the house a few bags identical to the one she found in the dresser. Please disregard any past information about this bag of flour]
