The first chapter was over. The stakes and mechanics of the system you're in have been shown to their full extent, and regardless of how you feel about the Samidare and Zola's deaths, the story must go on.

Clean-up is done with a perfection that'd make you wonder if there ever was a murder on that rooftop in the residential district. Everything is spotless and repaired, making it look like nothing ever happened. If it wasn't for the absence of two people among your number, you'd think it had all been a bad dream. But it wasn't. The brutality of the incident and the execution make that plainly clear.

Now, with the opening of a new week, something else opens. Lands beyond the area you spent seven days in. What will the new week bring? Will it be another murder?

Why - what are you using it for? Surely, not to catapult Mister Nageki?! He's only a child!!

W-well... He wanted to get to the top of the clock tower, so we've been planning this out along with him...

[ He's not just some casual child-flinger!! ]

Oh! Well, if he agrees to it... And you are taking safety into account, so that is good. But what about protective gear?

I think putting any sort of flight gear on a bird would probably be more of a hindrance to his natural capabilities than anything...

I was told he couldn't fly at all, however...

He can't fly now, but he does still have wings and the knowledge of how to fly, so he should be able to glide and steer himself for a brief period of time just fine once he's up in the air. It's a little like having a built-in parachute, if you want to look at it that way.

[ That's hardly accurate, but he doesn't think anyone really wants a detailed physics lesson from him, so that seems like the simplest way to put it. ]

Mister Nageki would be the expert on what he can and can't do, I suppose... He doesn't seem the type to do things thoughtlessly. You'll be extremely careful with him, won't you?

Yes, of course. Causing him to hurt himself is the last thing I want.
