The first chapter was over. The stakes and mechanics of the system you're in have been shown to their full extent, and regardless of how you feel about the Samidare and Zola's deaths, the story must go on.

Clean-up is done with a perfection that'd make you wonder if there ever was a murder on that rooftop in the residential district. Everything is spotless and repaired, making it look like nothing ever happened. If it wasn't for the absence of two people among your number, you'd think it had all been a bad dream. But it wasn't. The brutality of the incident and the execution make that plainly clear.

Now, with the opening of a new week, something else opens. Lands beyond the area you spent seven days in. What will the new week bring? Will it be another murder?

I don't really know why the Kotori Obake targets children
But that forest is full of the tormented spirits of her victims

That's horrible... All those kids have got to be terrified.

[ He clutches at his necklace, eyes wide. ]

Is that why you have to get home, then?

[ Oh... oh, no. Riku frowns. ]

Suga...

[ He trails off, thinking for a moment. ]

You're really amazing. It can't be easy, keeping everyone out of there... so that you do it is really incredible. We'll get you back--promise.

[ And he holds his pinky out. ]

[Suga hooks his pinky with Riku. Promise.]

I want to make sure you get home safe too

[He's not the only one who deserves to get home.]

[ He smiles as he pulls his hand away... and then, he sighs. ]

The others are probably worried about me... even if I'm causing them trouble. Manager has to be working even harder to come up with explanations...

So the most important thing is that you come home safely

Mm, that's true.

[ He grumbles lightly. ]

But that won't stop Iori from lecturing me, I bet. "Nanase-san, you caused a lot of problems for us, you can't go running off without telling anyone!"

[ He pouts for a moment. ]

I know he'd be happy to see me, though.

I think kidnapping should be an understandable exception to that

I think so, too.

[ He huffs softly. ]

Iori's just that kind of person, who worries too much and lets you know by nagging.

[ There's an undeniable fondness in the way he says that, though. ]

[Suga is a worrier and fusses too much...]

Hmmm.... kind of.

[ He taps his fingers on the table. ]

But unlike Iori, you get along with Tenn-nii.

Tenn is a good and kind person
Why would anyone not get along with him

They can be really rude to each other.

[ He says that so matter-of-factly..... ]

They both think they know what's best for me, so... sometimes that makes them say rude and mean things to each other.

[ He sighs. ]

I know they both just care and worry, but... it can be really frustrating too....

I have, but... I guess their personalities are just the kinds that will always clash no matter what.

It'd be nice if all your friends got along
