The first chapter was over. The stakes and mechanics of the system you're in have been shown to their full extent, and regardless of how you feel about the Samidare and Zola's deaths, the story must go on.

Clean-up is done with a perfection that'd make you wonder if there ever was a murder on that rooftop in the residential district. Everything is spotless and repaired, making it look like nothing ever happened. If it wasn't for the absence of two people among your number, you'd think it had all been a bad dream. But it wasn't. The brutality of the incident and the execution make that plainly clear.

Now, with the opening of a new week, something else opens. Lands beyond the area you spent seven days in. What will the new week bring? Will it be another murder?

Even if it is not interesting, I have dealt vith more tedious sings for longer times.

[As if to prove his point, the parrot doesn't leave the workshop as Suga works, siting out of the way from the man's work space, but high enough that he can see everything Suga does to create the necklace.

Seems he can be quite patient.]

[Well, alright. He'll get to watch Suga carefully smooth out the gem from its raw, uncut form into the correct shape, then work the metal to fit it.

As he estimated, it takes about an hour before he has the necklace complete. It should fit all of Pericles' specifications, and looks quite nice to boot.]

[The parrot nods as he watches the work be done, and once finished, soars down from his perch and lands on the table, inspecting the necklace.]

Very nice. I'm assuming zis is your profession, Herr Suga?

[Don't mind him as he picks up the necklace with a wing, inspecting it for another second before turning his attention back to Suga.]

And I am assuming ze two are somewhat similar? Considering the qvality of this piece.

[Cause really, he was expecting something a lot less...nice looking, honestly.]

If a charm looks nice enough, even people who don't believe in what it's protecting them from will wear it

[So while looking good isn't technically a requirement, in practice it's a lot more likely to see use if it's pretty.]

[The parrot slips the necklace over his head, letting it rest above his scarf for a moment before adjusting it underneath the fabric.]
