CHAPTER 2
CHAPTER 2
The first chapter was over. The stakes and mechanics of the system you're in have been shown to their full extent, and regardless of how you feel about the Samidare and Zola's deaths, the story must go on.
Clean-up is done with a perfection that'd make you wonder if there ever was a murder on that rooftop in the residential district. Everything is spotless and repaired, making it look like nothing ever happened. If it wasn't for the absence of two people among your number, you'd think it had all been a bad dream. But it wasn't. The brutality of the incident and the execution make that plainly clear.
Now, with the opening of a new week, something else opens. Lands beyond the area you spent seven days in. What will the new week bring? Will it be another murder?
Keep turning the pages and find out.
[[Welcome to Week 2! Feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. However, please try to keep investigations to Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday! You can also privately contact Hamelin at your leisure.
In addition, a reminder that any Murder Proposals for this week are due by Tuesday 3:00 PM EST/12:00 PM PST! However, please note that you have the option of submitting murder proposals for a later week as well.]]

Like... a magic potion?
[ said as she takes another sip ]
What sort of potion uses peonies?
[ as though she were perfuma, and definitely knows what a peony is ]
no subject
This one would have been a weak healing potion, if I had managed to find the rest of the ingredients. It's too bad - I thought it would help everyone...
[ But then Sami... ]
no subject
[ there's a heavy silence for a moment before she continues, ]
I guess we'll just have to find other ways to help. I thought about teaching self defense?

Yuri sighs and busies herself with preparing another mug of tea to quell the bitter helplessness welling up inside her. ]
As... long as we continue to help each other, my lady, I am sure any contribution would be appreciated. It seems there are many of you who are good at such things. Have you talked to the others about organizing a class together?
no subject
When there's also a wish that we can't be sure who would kill to have granted?
no subject
You are not wrong, but since we do not know everyone's hearts, isn't it better to just assume the best of everyone for now? That mug could have been poisoned, but you did not question my intentions at all.
no subject
Oh. You're right.
It was actually really nice?

But we should add cake or something, from the bakery too?

Yuri takes the kettle off the stove and puts out the fire. ]
I would be glad to. Shall we?
no subject
[ ... though she will definitely chug the last of her drink ]
no subject
I've yet to visit the bakery. Have you already been?
no subject
[ she sets the cup aside, and well, now they are off.
also this has nothing to do with the fact about her ??? ability to cook. honest! ]
no subject
[ And what a wonderful day it is, too. Sheβs glad theyβre in this part of the castle grounds and not... the new area. Her shoes would not survive all that sand. ]
The means youβre open to enjoying everything. [ All the things! ]
