CHAPTER 2

The first chapter was over. The stakes and mechanics of the system you're in have been shown to their full extent, and regardless of how you feel about the Samidare and Zola's deaths, the story must go on.

Clean-up is done with a perfection that'd make you wonder if there ever was a murder on that rooftop in the residential district. Everything is spotless and repaired, making it look like nothing ever happened. If it wasn't for the absence of two people among your number, you'd think it had all been a bad dream. But it wasn't. The brutality of the incident and the execution make that plainly clear.

Now, with the opening of a new week, something else opens. Lands beyond the area you spent seven days in. What will the new week bring? Will it be another murder?

[ c-ta was actually looking to find suga...and while he's not surprised to find him in a workshop, considering his portrait, he is a little surprised to find a treasure box's worth of jewelry with him.

he sure works fast, huh... ]

Did you make all of these, Suga?

[Suga nods, and starts going through the jewelry hoard with purpose before pulling an emerald teardrop-shaped pendant, which he stands up and approaches C-ta with.

It is, notably, a very close match for the shade of C-ta's eyes.]

Suga...?

[ c-ta's smile freezes as he looks at the pendant. his gaze then goes back to suga, and then back to the pendant.

...? ????????? ????? ]

You made that for me?

[Nod! If there are no objections, then he'll loop it carefully around C-ta's neck.]

[ he'll try to reach for suga's hand. ]

[ for some reason, it feels a bit painful to hear. bittersweet. he grips suga's hand a little tighter, as if he were afraid that the other would just disappear. ]

[Well, if he really wants to. Suga gets back to work, picking up a ruby and carefully chiseling it into a heart shape.

[ c-ta watches in silence, for the most part, just following suga's actions. it definitely is a bit boring, but the fact that it's suga that's working on it makes it interesting enough for c-ta to continue watching. ]

Hmm...that's looking nice. [ he hums. ] You're good at this.

[ he'll reach to ruffle suga's hair. ]

That's good, though. To have something you like to do.

[His face is very red for extremely heterosexual reasons.]

he looks at him for a long moment, before sighing. even though there are so many people...

he'll just continue watching him, leaning his head against suga's shoulder. ]
