The first chapter was over. The stakes and mechanics of the system you're in have been shown to their full extent, and regardless of how you feel about the Samidare and Zola's deaths, the story must go on.

Clean-up is done with a perfection that'd make you wonder if there ever was a murder on that rooftop in the residential district. Everything is spotless and repaired, making it look like nothing ever happened. If it wasn't for the absence of two people among your number, you'd think it had all been a bad dream. But it wasn't. The brutality of the incident and the execution make that plainly clear.

Now, with the opening of a new week, something else opens. Lands beyond the area you spent seven days in. What will the new week bring? Will it be another murder?

Anyway, I'm glad you've got something like this to work on now. It's much easier not to dwell too hard on our situation when you have something to keep your mind occupied.

It's going well, I think. We finished drawing the plans up over the weekend and moved onto the construction phase, which is pretty straightforward in this case. If testing goes as planned, we may be able to use it as soon as tomorrow.

It seems more likely that we might find something of use there than in other most of the other locations, at least, since there are so many notable curious things about it.

With the timing... what it was, I admittedly haven't given the words themselves much thought yet.

More generally, it seems odd that we were all given the same page, for one... Given the method of delivery, it seems unrealistic to think that it could have been an unknown party slipping it in without Hamelin's knowledge, and if he was aware of it, I don't know if we can assume it was intended to help us in any way.

It did seem like that. It's hard to believe he'd give us any reward that would potentially put him at a disadvantage, though, so I don't know how much stock we should put in it.

...I'm also still really not sure how our group was the one to end up with this. [ You all saw him!! ] But then again, Yor's dancing was very nice...

It was really amazing how graceful she was once she got into it... not that she's usually ungraceful, but. It was impressive.
