FINAL TRIAL
Final Trial
This Friday morning you've investigated as has become commonplace, even if the circumstances have shifted. And now it's time to take stock of what you've found, what options you have, what options you don't, in the lull of action you have left.
The abyss in the fountain beckons, but doesn't demand quite yet. Who knows when that will change, though.
[OOC NOTE: You'll have the first hour of trial to discuss what you found in final investigation yesterday, and then we'll get this show on the road! ]

Plenty bad. It hits her with perfect aim!
The Beldam is slammed onto the face of the clock. For a brief moment she doesn't move, but then she stands up, a little shaky. She's definitely looking bad. Below her, the face of the clock cracks -- looks like she's preparing to make her escape and move somewhere else.
But while she does that it's the chance to strike. Alright!
The hands of the clock hit her. Heavy, sturdy, and pretty large, they slam against her, pushing her away. When she realizes what happened she shouts with indignation of her own, but there's nothing she can do -- parts of her bend and snap under the weight of the hand of the clock. The Beldam pushes back and, just for a brief moment, the hand slows down, as if it's going to start moving backwards.
It doesn't last long. She really has been weakened enough for this.
The hand of the clock moves a little more, snapping her, sticks flying in the air and into the void. She really...
...
...she really is gone. It's done.
The Beldam is dead. Destroyed by the hands of the clock, she has been defeated]

With her goes the chance of having his wish fulfilled neatly, of tying up his revolution in the way he's worked towards for almost two months now.
He's going to have to find a new perspective.
And he has to admit, quietly to himself, that he is a little tired. ]
