Final Trial

This Friday morning you've investigated as has become commonplace, even if the circumstances have shifted. And now it's time to take stock of what you've found, what options you have, what options you don't, in the lull of action you have left.

The abyss in the fountain beckons, but doesn't demand quite yet. Who knows when that will change, though.

We could ask her to fulfill my wish, seeing as I earned it either way. It is not world-altering, but it would require her to bring a rather large machine from my world and perform considerable upgrades on technology she herself has no knowledge of.

I don't know how much magic that would drain though.

Not sure if it helps but this room looks like it's barely keeping itself together. Even if small stuff didn't seem to bother her at all.

So maybe your wish might be a good idea. I'd like to know what it is specifically before I agree to that though.

My wish is to upgrade it to enough destructive power to handle a fleet of spaceships. A rather pressing problem for me, right now.

...I can't say I don't understand, I was never given an option to avoid relying on the whims of monsters. I despise the concept of these wishes granted by these despicable gods, but I also rate destroying the roots of the parasytes infecting humanity and keeping them in the dirt higher than my pride.

I won't fail destroying those who oppose me. Not with this, not at all.

That's not a terrible idea, actually... it would certainly be difficult to fake that sort of thing when you'd be able to tell.
