Oh, you misunderstand. We're all fully prepared to kill you, and we're all largely unopposed. The only reason we considered keeping you around is because we thought you might actually be useful.

But if you're disinterested, then we have few qualms about giving you what you've earned.

I'm gonna be blunt: if it were up to me, I'd choose your death and I wouldn't lose a moment of sleep over it, but this isn't just about me and what I want. Besides, I have some experience in being someone else's puppet, so it'd be pretty hypocritical of me to condemn someone else for the same thing.
