FINAL INVESTIGATION

Good morning and happy Friday. Despite the sense of the coming end, today starts off just like any other Friday in Aira Niluc, with a song finding its way to your ears. Normally this would be followed by an announcement, but there is only silence in it's wake.

The curious might be piqued to gather where what's becoming familiar by now, and they'll find that the fountain is completely drained, leading downward into a completely dark abyss. An emerald slide glitters, clearly an invitation of some sort, but it's probably not best to go down there until you're all prepared. Take stock of what you need, explore to find any other changes in the world, and then gather together.

[With the adder stone...hm!

Yup, looks like there was a reason Phil had such a feeling! From the wreath it feels like wood extends from it, like branches getting into the nothingness, passing through the walls of the living room. Even though it'd make sense for him to touch them, if he passes his hand through those branches he'll feel air. Looks like it's some sort of magic, and thankfully, being in middle of it all doesn't seem dangerous.]

[ ...Blinks... They don't seem to be connected to anything in particular that's actually visible from in here?

He kind of wants to see if he can pick it up and follow the branches anywhere, but... he'll leave it there on the table for now so he can finish what he's looking at before he gets distracted.

[They don't seem to be connected to anything in the living room. Seems to be all connected to stuff outside, but it's hard to tell just by looking at it, admittedly. Some of the carving seems to be very small, almost nigh unreadable words.

Drawer #1! It has a prize, neat. Looks like a book! "Fairytales for You and Your Family". Alright then]

Looks like this book is pretty intact and 0% bug, if he looks with the adder stone. Always something to be glad about! There also are many bookmarks in this book. That's convenient]

[Seems to be a bookmark a kid would make -- cardboard and colorful paper. Alright then!

The first bookmark leads Phil to Cinderella. Some places are highlighted -- those that make references to things from the story, such as Cinderella's castle, a pumpkin, the clock ringing midnight, and other similar elements. Alright!]

[The next one leads to a tale named Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves.

Similarly to the first one there are things highlighted, such as a cave with treasures. Other elements with less of a relation are marked, but in general Phil should be able to make conjectures about what parts of the story fit with what.

[ Well, this is either a great or ominous find!!

That's it for the console table, then? Is it time for him to actually try to pick up the wreath? ]

[ All right!! So is it possible to take the wreath? Does anything interesting happen when he tries? Is it just, like, rooted there? ]

[Indeed he can take it! He'll find no resistance at all, and it's light and pliable. The words are too small to be read, though...

...but, when he grabs and holds it, it feels like his head gets filled with a specific knowledge. He'll be able to picture places connected to each other, most of them being places he has never seen before. If he sifts through this knowledge for a while he'll find places from his world, though. He'll have no doubt about it.

Remember the vision you had during your horse exploration weeks ago, Phil? It's similar to that, but a little more solid. Feels like he could reach into any of those worlds and just...walk into it, if he so desired. It's instinctive knowledge, knowledge that even after he lets go of the wreath he'll still have. Your mind has been opened to the possibility of going into worlds, Phil! You'll feel like you could find your way to them later!]

[ Hilariously this is like, very similar to what happens when you do an anima search for another world, except the idea is to bring those worlds to you instead of going to them yourself! It's always a one way trip in those cases, though, so...
