FINAL CHAPTER
Final Chapter
Like the secrets that spilled out into the open, the night sky above Aira Niluc also seems to be running free; whatever part of the land you find yourself in at night, you'll find that the night sky has been painted with shooting stars. Watching them brings a certain comfort, the feeling of chicken soup on a cold winter day, the nostalgia of meeting an old friend again, a warm fuzzy feeling from your core.
A boost to your spirits is likely welcome at this point, and it seems be the only thing Aira Niluc has to offer you at this as no new locations open up to you this week. There's a certain energy in the air, but not all of that can be blamed on the shooting stars, given the explosion that happened this weekend. For now the chasm in what was once the fountain remains impassable, but who knows when that will change?
[[Welcome to Week 6! Feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. However, please try to keep investigations to Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday! You can also privately contact Hamelin at your leisure through Wednesday of this week.
Also, please note the shop's discount on magnifying glasses! ]]

The candy factory should have quite a few delightful little items that will help with that - shall we go grab a few?

[NORMALLY he's not quite this gung-ho about setting things on fire! But there's no one here to judge him aside from Phil, and given that Phil was one of the instigators of the Fountain Incident, he's pretty sure there will be no judgment there.]

[ALEXEI WATCH THE BONFIRE, HE'LL BE RIGHT BACK
anyway, one rather uneventful trip to gather candy later...]
Would you like to do the honors?
no subject
[Is that a cherry bomb? Yep, that's a cherry bomb. He's just going to make sure he's standing about as far away from the fire as he can before tossing it right at the unholy inferno and...
... running for cover!
If that bear explodes he might never stop laughing]no subject
There's a massive explosion and uh. Well. That poor bear has definitely seen better days. Thankfully(????) it is not entirely exploded but uh. It's definitely missing quite a bit of its head now. Rest in pieces, gummy bear.]
That was delightful! Let's see how many more pieces you can blow up!
no subject
And now no one will ever know for sure!]What, you don't want a turn too?
no subject
[Don't ask him how he set this on fire in the first place.]
Besides, you seem like you need the catharsis!
[He already got to set the bonfire, let everyone else have a turn for Maximum Chaos!!!]
no subject
[He really does need the catharsis, even if he himself doesn't fully realize it.]
Then don't mind if I do!
[Let's see if he can't aim a more towards the torso this time because the idea of the entire bear just sort of detonating is... a little more glorious than it really should be, probably.]
no subject
Anyway! The cherry bomb sails through the air in a graceful arc and lands on the exploded and still-burning remains of the torso, only to explode in an elegant shower of gummy bear chunks within moments. Though it sadly does not take the entire bear with it, this one is a massive explosion that makes an absolute mess of the bear and looks beautifully stupid. Can you tell I'm having fun writing these descriptions.
Yeager claps and laughs before gesturing to the bear.]
One more should do the trick! Take it out, Marcus!
no subject
He can't help but cheer out loud at the gelatinous precipitation
I can't believe I just wrote that phrase oh my godthat rains down in a small radius outside of the fire itself because this is one of the most ridiculous things he's ever seen and he kind of loves it. And also possibly because of the fact that this was Jack's gummy bear, but.]You got it!
[One last cherry bomb, coming right up!]
no subject
Anyway, there goes the cherry bomb! This one lands perfectly as well and when it explodes, the last of the gummy bear blasts apart, sending pieces flying. The throne remains mostly intact, still burning and definitely sporting some serious explosion damage, but the bear is gone. Alas, poor Bear Jack, you were the closest we had to actually punching Jack.]
Wonderful! You did an excellent job, look at it!
[THIS IS SUCH A MESS, Yeager looks so happy.]
no subject
I mean you could but Hamelin probably would not have been happy, so in some ways this works out better anyway. It was certainly more... theatrical? And isn't that why they're here in the first place?Marcus enjoyed the show, if nothing else; when that last remaining segment of bear detonates, he starts laughing, and then he finds he just really can't stop. He doubles over, clutching his stomach as he almost howls, and for a moment there's a strained note behind it that can't really be called humor. But it's gone almost as soon as it surfaced, and after a minute or so he straightens back up and wipes the tears of laughter from his eyes.]
You mean what's left of it, right?
no subject
Ja, I do! I would say we should blow that up too, but I suspect everyone will tell me to knock it off soon.
[Some people just can't stop being the fun police!!!!!]
I'm glad you had fun with the bombs, though~!
no subject
If we do that, we're gonna need some more of those bombs. I think that was my last one.
[Alas!! This is not him being opposed to the idea, though.]
Honestly, this was almost more fun than sparring.
[LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE YOU GAVE HIM IDEAS]
no subject
Isn't it? Who knows, perhaps we'll get more opportunities for some fun like this in the future~
[i'll just leave you on that ominous remark for now but keep an eye out!!!]
no subject
Yeager
what are you planning...]
Yeah, well, I hope by now I've made the short list of people who get invited to those things.
no subject
Keep an eye out, perhaps you'll find something fun tomorrow~
