Like the secrets that spilled out into the open, the night sky above Aira Niluc also seems to be running free; whatever part of the land you find yourself in at night, you'll find that the night sky has been painted with shooting stars. Watching them brings a certain comfort, the feeling of chicken soup on a cold winter day, the nostalgia of meeting an old friend again, a warm fuzzy feeling from your core.

A boost to your spirits is likely welcome at this point, and it seems be the only thing Aira Niluc has to offer you at this as no new locations open up to you this week. There's a certain energy in the air, but not all of that can be blamed on the shooting stars, given the explosion that happened this weekend. For now the chasm in what was once the fountain remains impassable, but who knows when that will change?

[Alexei glances over, more a shift in gaze than actually turning to look at Yeager any; he has no idea what Yeager has in mind, but - ]

So yeah, that... doesn't seem good, so he's just... going to see if Alexei's out of it enough to let him get in between him and the fireball. Either way he'll be raising his voice and just being even more over-the-top than usual!!]

It's very important and I'm in a hurry! I won't take no for an answer!

[He wasn't exactly expecting Suddenly, Yeager breaking his immediate line of sight with whatever he was watching, and he seems annoyed for a moment before the words seem to sink in and...well, he's still annoyed, just for a different reason.]

What are you conscripting me into now?

[C'mon, milord!! He's going to gesture for Alexei to come with him, but he won't be leaving until he's sure Alexei's coming with!!]

[He hesitates for a moment before just...following; he can find another one later, he's sure...

Or, well. Speaking of fire. He just sighs a bit, in a manner that's more than vaguely put-upon.]

Have you found something else to burn, or am I helping you find something?

So anyway, off we go; c'mon, there's gotta be something fun around here!]

The only request I have is that we not burn the church.

[There are a bunch of cottages out here, though; likely not as satisfying as the mansion, unfortunately, and also one of the few sources of warmth, so probably not the best idea. There's the snowed-over remains of the bonfire from a couple weeks ago, there's that godawful massive gummy bear that Jack was playing with-

[There isn't a ton out here, but maybe he can construct some horrible effigy with all that wood we have left over from the last bonfire—]

[He's already laughing as he waves a hand and starts moving towards that horrible gummy bear.]

Ja, ja, of course~ Hmm, let's see here...

[This thing really wouldn't be very much fun to burn on its own, would it? Sure, it'd be fun for awhile, but there's definitely a way to make a bigger and better bonfire.

So Yeager will just abruptly move away to that wood pile, humming to himself as he starts going through it.]

Where do you think we should set this up?

[He has a plan in mind!!]

...Near the lake, but not on it. There's less a chance of it burning the entire town down that way, since I don't trust what you're planning.

I don't know what you're talking about, I have nothing terrible in mind at all.

[But with that said!! He's going to start gathering wood.]

Bring that thing over then, will you?

[He just. Sighs very deeply, and accepts that whatever is about to happen is because he has nothing better to do tonight, and if this thing somehow manages to still be sticky he's going to kill Yeager.

It is not, in fact, sticky. It is very hard, actually. Like. Alarmingly rigid. Poor fucker's frozen pretty solid.]

Well, I understand the need for the wood, at least... It presumably wouldn't be a very satisfying burn otherwise.

[Yeager lives another day!! 🎉

Ja, certainly. If we're going to burn it, then we want it to be fun, after all~!

[Excellent, here we are. He gestures for Alexei to set it down and then gets to work!! It looks like he's... building something? Sort of?? Does Yeager look like a man who has ever tried to make anything with wood before. He's humming to himself while he works but uh...]

...I'm going to need more wood. Will you grab some more for me, Alexei?

[...still feels weird to call him that, but whatever!!]

[you've got a whole lot of ugly happening down there, yeager.]

Believe me, I wouldn't have known if you hadn't told me.

You wound me... Well, it's the best we're going to get unless you feel like you can do a better job!

I don't just "feel like" I can. Give me a knife.

[he does not want to spend all fucking night fetching things for you, and he's morbidly curious to see how this burns, so...]

[Tah-dah!! Here's a knife, presented almost immediately.]

Knock yourself out! I'll bring you more wood to work with. Make it as big as you can!

[He usually works with metal, not with wood, and it's fucking late and Fucking Dark besides, but at least he has a decent idea of how things fit together and how to make joints work.

It'll take some trial and error, and some things under his breath that aren't swearing but also definitely aren't pleased, and honestly it'll take a good long while, but he finds he can't complain; it's as he's always said, some part of him enjoys working with his hands, having a tangible result of what he's doing, and seeing both improvement and progress. What he ends up with is large and...surprisingly elaborate; it's not like the Iron Throne or anything, but it's more than suitable for putting a gummy bear in and setting on fire, so there's that.]

...I'm not doing more than that for something we're just going to burn. I'm not a carpenter.

[It takes Yeager a little while to bring over enough wood, and then once he has he just... vanishes for awhile... Don't worry about it. Anyway, he'll be back by the time Alexei's done, nodding in approval.]

That'll be good enough, I think! You did an excellent job!

[Definitely better than his pathetic attempt, but what do you expect from him anyway?? This throne doesn't even look like a beetle, so that's a victory in his book!!

Anyway, Yeager has apparently been busy making something, because he places a rather elaborate crown of twigs on the gummy bear's head before hoisting it up onto the throne and backing up to admire their creation.]

...I love it.

Well, this is the dumbest thing I've done with my time since arrival.
