Like the secrets that spilled out into the open, the night sky above Aira Niluc also seems to be running free; whatever part of the land you find yourself in at night, you'll find that the night sky has been painted with shooting stars. Watching them brings a certain comfort, the feeling of chicken soup on a cold winter day, the nostalgia of meeting an old friend again, a warm fuzzy feeling from your core.

A boost to your spirits is likely welcome at this point, and it seems be the only thing Aira Niluc has to offer you at this as no new locations open up to you this week. There's a certain energy in the air, but not all of that can be blamed on the shooting stars, given the explosion that happened this weekend. For now the chasm in what was once the fountain remains impassable, but who knows when that will change?

[ She has been watching the meeting, mostly silent. Slowly: ]

... We are not a group, are we? Ah. There was never any plan to work as a group at the end of this, was there? There is them and us.

[ She sees that now. Maybe they had always decided she was part of the “them” all along. She gives Tenn a... smile. Yes, she can handle anything with a smile. ]

I’ve given you all the information I can. You can just tell everyone what I’ve told you.

...There was if we could confirm that we were all truly interested in working toward the same goals. You're welcome to resent me personally, and I wouldn't blame you in the slightest for doing so... but I don't think it's unreasonable for us as a whole to want to be cautious under the circumstances. If this had come out the week before, that would be one thing, but following Koutarou's murder...

[ He bites his lip for a moment after he speaks those words, frowning. He still really hates thinking about it... even more so now that it's been confirmed that Suga hadn't instigated anything. ]

If you'd like to explain to us precisely why that was necessary, I for one would be happy to hear it.

I’m not sure why you think I would know that, or that I would have known that before Sir Suga’s murder. That I would knowingly let a friend die, if I could stop it personally.

I don't think you had anything to do with it, nor that you had any idea that such a thing would happen to him in particular. But I also don't think you would be so immediately forgiving of those who were involved in his death if you didn't have some understanding of why it had to happen. I just... would like to understand that myself.

I... I can phrase it differently if you'd like. You don't appear to hold it against them at all, is what I mean.

I don’t “appear” to told it against them. Just like I didn’t appear to hold it against any of the other killers, right? So clearly I must want everyone dead? Shall I go into details I don’t know about their murders, too?

Please don't put words in my mouth, Yuri. I assure you that I am not coming at this from any angle of supposed moral superiority, as I have none whatsoever. I merely found it jarring that you would so readily stand by Jack given what had just been revealed about his actions. I would like to know why you felt comfortable with that.

Then don’t assume my intentions and consider it justification to ask me why I willingly let a precious friend die and why I personally felt that was necessary.

If I hadn’t put myself in front of Jack to keep some of our more trigger-happy friends from approaching, Hamelin would have killed them.

Tell me, then, if you dislike assumptions so much - do you find it unreasonable that we wouldn't want to present a unified front right now? Because I can assure you, as someone rather accustomed to conflict, it's much easier to be united with people who aren't actively taking the side of those that want you dead.

All we have to go off of are your actions and your mewling about Hamelin and those who side with him. Are you truly surprised by any of this?

[ She stares at him. Because really. After what happened with Morgan and Pericles? ]

Again, I made no implication that you willingly let him die; as I said, I am quite certain that you had no idea what was going to happen to him.

Are you saying, then, that the only reason you were willing to stand by Jack's side in that moment was because you wished to protect everyone else from Hamelin?

The murder I just took responsibility for? You're choosing to blame her for that?

[ There's a pause, as if he doesn't know what to say to the first part. But he does say his piece a little later so he leaves it for now. ]

It's probably easier if you just say it now...

[ He'll just look at her, pleadingly ]

We wouldn't all be in this meeting right now if we didn't think working as a group was possible, Miss Elizabeth. I don't blame you for feeling excluded. I get it and I'm sorry --but can you really blame us for wanting to get everyone's feelings first either? Make sure we're all on the same page?

[ And try to convince anyone that had reservations one way or the other. A deep breath, before he rambles. ]

I want us all to work as a group, including you. You've been a great friend to so many people here, I know you care about them too. I just don't want any of the deaths here to be meaningless, so...

I think everyone here would agree with me when I say I'm willing to work together with you. [ A glance around because he definitely said that last part loud enough for everyone. ] We just have to have some honesty from everyone so we can figure this out. That's why we're here.

[ Well, everything sure had gone to a bit of a shitshow...

Huaisang just sighs...he doesn't want this meeting to just dissolve into fighting. If they can all get everything out in the air, and step back and breathe instead of all of ... this, maybe things will be easier.

His views still haven't really changed about what he said last meeting, but his priorities are going to see if everyone can cooperate. ]

I-I think communication is important, with all of that's happened. I also don't think some things were acceptable to have been done or said, because we're all trying to work together, and it's made things difficult now. But what is done is done. We can't take back what's been said or done today in anger or even the days before, like at the end of the trial, or even following the end of it.

[ He'll look very anxiously and pleadingly around the room...he's praying really hard nobody argues with him because things got really scary on all sides, okay...which he understands completely because there's a perfectly good reason for that tension! But still. ]

But, I think it's time to move forward from that, and do our best to make up for it.

So...please, Yuri, if you can just clarify things some more. For example, what information that you mentioned to Tenn? I imagine we would really all appreciate it.

[ Or if Tenn wants to fill in, that's fine, he's just Trying his best to ensure the information gets out there. He also looks at Tenn a bit pleadingly in between this. It's fine. ]

You also had begun to clarify the situation in regards to Phil's question. I think people were just trying to understand your position. So far you had said it was mostly because of trying to protect people from Hamelin, because he seemed more unhinged than usual due to people going after Jack, yes? But you also seemed to indicate that there was another reason as well?

[ Poor Huaisang. She'll make this short and sweet, so he can stop fussing and start making his funny horror face. ]

If you remember the ragdoll that was at the meeting last week, and what I said about the doll from my mirror dream. They both came from the creature that's responsible for all this. She can mold them into images of anyone at all.

But.

There is one thing she can't always hide about these fakes. Look carefully at their button eyes.

Do you mean literal buttons for eyes? Or something more subtle?

If it's supposed to be literal, I'd certainly hope we'd be able to tell the difference...

[ Maybe she is capable of something more subtle, after all she did kill Lady Junko with one of her dolls. Probably. ]

...the ones I'm used to, the only way to differentiate them is a discoloration in their irises. So, I suppose that's a relief.
