FINAL CHAPTER
Final Chapter
Like the secrets that spilled out into the open, the night sky above Aira Niluc also seems to be running free; whatever part of the land you find yourself in at night, you'll find that the night sky has been painted with shooting stars. Watching them brings a certain comfort, the feeling of chicken soup on a cold winter day, the nostalgia of meeting an old friend again, a warm fuzzy feeling from your core.
A boost to your spirits is likely welcome at this point, and it seems be the only thing Aira Niluc has to offer you at this as no new locations open up to you this week. There's a certain energy in the air, but not all of that can be blamed on the shooting stars, given the explosion that happened this weekend. For now the chasm in what was once the fountain remains impassable, but who knows when that will change?
[[Welcome to Week 6! Feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. However, please try to keep investigations to Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday! You can also privately contact Hamelin at your leisure through Wednesday of this week.
Also, please note the shop's discount on magnifying glasses! ]]

Sometimes you get lucky. What actually happened, if you don't mind?

[ Fellow shortie, Grant your wisdom. Her friendship blinded her. ]

I made my offer publicly for the traitor to speak to me privately so that we could protect them from inevitable retaliation, and I meant it. But nobody came forward.

My alliance was given to the House of Grimm when I came here and I will not betray it.

I made the same offer to him three weeks ago, anyway.
[Just phrased in the way of calling him a pussy in more words than necessary over and over because. Fuck that guy.]
no subject
We'll just have to see how it plays out now, won't we?
no subject
[It's said with a mean little smile, but it's not untrue. She does have some respect for him, afterall.]

[He's... not surprised that other people have had the same idea, honestly.]

[ in Koto's brain there is a sus venn diagram and jack is in both circles. ]
He's... Yeah.
no subject
Interesting. I might have underestimated you.
[ For as much as McGillis liked Jack, he's not upset she was going to do this to him. It's a reasonable move and he was wrong to put it past her. ]
As for the murder... we worked together. It was clear from the start that if nobody acts, the two of us would have to, so there was no reason not to cooperate. Jack was telling the truth when he said he neither knew how Suga died nor who killed him - neither did I, until the end of the vote.
And I will clarify one thing for certain. His body was dropped off the tower.
[ And FUCK YOU ALL for discrediting their efforts in that. ]

How'd you all get on the roof?
no subject
... he climbed my shoulders.

[ nods in understanding. ]
And the weird white thing, what was that?
no subject
Something it was very uncomfortable to have you all staring at for so long.

It might surprise you that back home, I am in a similar position to the one you have been in. The difference is that I hold no loyalty to the rat I serve, and will see him and all his allies dead by the time I'm done.
I suppose there being two of you explains how you carried him up there. It's admittedly a bit amusing that you were so adamant about correcting us on that.

[ Look. It was sound logic. Wow. ]

If Hamelin were a different man, I might be more like you.
[ Might. He still needs that wish. ]
no subject
I don't care, personally.
[She just does not like this man.]
no subject
[ As for Hamelin, he's not going to be his PR agent. Not liking him is valid. ]
no subject
...I'd say he must have had some absolutely incredible luck in that case, but the rest of the events do sort of negate that.

[ Hence, less blood. ]
