That sure happened, but everyone, by some miracle, made it out alive. No one else died, nothing blew up, no arson was committed, we're all still here. And being here, being present despite everything that just happened, is really important. This is for everyone, McGillis and Yuri included (and Jack, if he wants to party from the dungeon), because they all need it. Even with the new revelations, nobody should be left behind.

The party takes place in the bar again, and it probably looks a little...odd? Because there's all the alcohol in the back, and then...there's a bunch of donuts on one of the tables. Two whole baskets of donuts from the bakery, provided by Tenn. Next to the baskets is tea provided by Koto. Have at it, everyone. ]

I considered it. But, I figured Jack would be the most likely to have done the deed between the two of them.

[ He wasn't really that honest at the end when he said he didn't know, but it's fine. His actions spoke for itself. In the end it was simple, if McGillis didn't strike the killing blow or wasn't the killer, he wasn't the one he'd focus on passing suspicion on. ]

Maybe not at this point...

Um, were you still around when I asked Jack about Suga, by the way?

...Suga wasn't out to kill Jack or anyone.

Jack said he went out because he thought he could rescue someone - Jack also mentioned he lured him out, and I didn't ask for any further details, but I'm sure he must have created a situation to make it like somebody was in trouble.

[ He didn't ask for more details just in case anyone else was around and heard Jack's callous remark besides him and decided to try to go for a round two. He noticed it wasn't just Marcus who was angry at Jack, after all... ]

[ ...Well. Now he feels terrible for considering that suggestion. Once again, he's always ready to believe the worst of everyone because he knows what he's capable of himself. ]

[ He doesn't even know how to finish that sentence, actually. Terrible of Jack, reassuring about Suga, so much more depressing to think about. ]

[ He's also not telling Marcus about that tonight, though. ]

[ Sometimes, the truth hurts? But Huaisang has learned the cons of staying ignorant. He's made that mistake back in his world years ago and paid a heavy price for it. Even if the situation was beyond his control.

It's something he still blames himself a little about to this day. ]

We probably shouldn't tell everyone this, but I'm sure there are some who can deal well with knowing.
