That sure happened, but everyone, by some miracle, made it out alive. No one else died, nothing blew up, no arson was committed, we're all still here. And being here, being present despite everything that just happened, is really important. This is for everyone, McGillis and Yuri included (and Jack, if he wants to party from the dungeon), because they all need it. Even with the new revelations, nobody should be left behind.
The party takes place in the bar again, and it probably looks a little...odd? Because there's all the alcohol in the back, and then...there's a bunch of donuts on one of the tables. Two whole baskets of donuts from the bakery, provided by Tenn. Next to the baskets is tea provided by Koto. Have at it, everyone. ]

[ A light tease, as he's waiting for Yeager to finish dealing out their cards. They're definitely not going to be at their best, and it's fine. Well, for now, anyway... ]

...Where do you think we'll go from here? The group as a whole, I mean.

Normally I'd have an idea of some sort, but...I think the news hit everyone rather hard. Even though Jack's execution is almost certainly tomorrow, I don't really think that's what everyone's focusing on right now.
Just that 'the people they trusted were traitors all along' is probably the common thought, and it's lowering morale.
[ He already prepared himself for the outcome awhile ago, so he's not surprised. He doesn't feel disappointed either, just tired. For now, anyway. Maybe he'll feel more when tomorrow comes. ]
...But, if everyone can get through that, I think there's a chance that everyone in the group can work together. I'm just not sure if that's going to happen yet.

I believe it'll be easier to get everyone to rally together once we know exactly who our enemy is. If it isn't Hamelin, then we need to figure out what we're up against. I imagine we can put aside our distrust and frustrations with one another if we have a common goal to work toward.
[It won't be easy and it won't be pretty, but people can pull together in surprising ways under dire circumstances.]

[ He'll pause, considering some things. He's just said he hopes the group can work together, but honestly he knows he'll still be keeping a watchful eye just in case. He can see them putting their efforts together to defeat the enemy, but after?
What happens then? The idea of no funny business at the end sounds like it'd be too good to be true. But, one thing at a time.
Huaisang can only prepare himself for so many outcomes at one time. ]
People will begrudgingly work together, even if they don't like each other. It's something common no matter where you are.

I'm honestly a little afraid where we will end up. But, I know it's a bit useless to worry about that when we haven't even seen what tomorrow looks like. [ ... ] Though, there is one thing I'm really happy about, despite the way everything had gone today.

It's a little embarrassing, but...I feel as if I'd never lacked faith in you at any time. There's not many people that I manage to do that with in the first place. But, I feel as if confiding in you or putting my trust in you was never ever a mistake.
I'm also happy to have met you, and that you've...been there by my side when I've needed it. [ ... ] And I'm glad that I've the chance to be there at a time when you needed someone to be as well.
You can even say our interactions have been the embodiment of this saying:

...And I hope that will continue to be so, no matter whatever problem or enemy we meet face on during our stay here.
In retrospect, I suppose that was more than just one thing, but I'd rather not leave these things unsaid. I've come to realize that you mean a lot to me, Yeager. More than I expected.

[He's used to such things being fake!! It's difficult to be genuinely complimented like this!! He's the least trustworthy and reliable person in all of Terca Lumireis, what is he supposed to do with this!!]

He feels accomplished and happy about that. He does feel just as elated about the rest, mind you. Because he's glad to know that they are on the same page. ]

[ He's teasing, of course, but he can't help it. He hopes Yeager doesn't mind, but...it always feels nice when it's the two of them, and they've come closer every week somehow. Whether by words, just being themselves, or something else entirely. It's a pleasant and warm feeling that he's gotten used to feeling around the other, really. ]
