CHAPTER 6
CHAPTER 6
The dead now outnumber the living.
There's only one area that stayed a mystery until now. A new path revealed itself, leading to another town, surrounded by sturdy stone walls. Even from some distance away you can see the tower, rising high towards the skies. The path that leads to the city turns into gold before long, and the sky itself seems to take a beautiful tone, like it's painted with watercolors. It's such a peaceful-looking town, welcoming you with open gates. It must be nice to have another urban setting, after living in the same place for so long.
But no matter what you find it doesn't change the situation you're in. Now that your numbers are dwindling that's impossible to forget.
The story is nearing its end. There still are a handful of pages left. What will they bring?
[[Welcome to Week 6! Feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. However, please try to keep investigations to Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday! You can also privately contact Hamelin at your leisure.
In addition, a reminder that any Murder Proposals for this week are due by Tuesday 3:00 PM EST/12:00 PM PST; this is the last week for murder proposals as week 7 is endgame. Also, please note the shop's discount on magnifying glasses! ]]

Yes
Although I've realized I don't know very many card games

[He has always been, and will probably always be, Fucking Boring.]
It's good that you're having a good time, however.

Are they usually this glittery?

Not mine either really
There are better ways to lose money

I always had more important things to do. This past month or so is the first time I've done anything unrelated to work in an extremely long time.

Like I've said, everyone here is very kind to me
But then those kind people keep dying

We won't leave anyone behind
[No matter if they killed, who they killed, or why - they don't deserve to be trapped here.]

I'm glad you're on our side
[He isn't glad that Alexei is here, in this murdergame, but he's glad Alexei is helping them.]
no subject
But we'll see things through. I'm sure of that much.
no subject
For what it's worth, I'm glad you changed your mind
no subject
[You know, the whole...returning home to be executed thing. It's said in that sort of blunt, brisk way that implies he's trying not to think about this whole thing too much.]
no subject
He reaches over to lightly pat Alexei's shoulder. He's here if you need to talk about things.]
no subject
[HE KNOWS...]
no subject
You might as well just accept it

For now, there's the more immediate concern of trying to get as many of us as we can through this alive.

...We should likely try to enjoy ourselves tonight, then. While the lot of us are still here.

Want to play a game
Yeager taught me how to play poker
no subject
[He hasn't played poker in so goddamn long, Suga, but yes, sure, let's do that.]
