The dead now outnumber the living.

There's only one area that stayed a mystery until now. A new path revealed itself, leading to another town, surrounded by sturdy stone walls. Even from some distance away you can see the tower, rising high towards the skies. The path that leads to the city turns into gold before long, and the sky itself seems to take a beautiful tone, like it's painted with watercolors. It's such a peaceful-looking town, welcoming you with open gates. It must be nice to have another urban setting, after living in the same place for so long.

But no matter what you find it doesn't change the situation you're in. Now that your numbers are dwindling that's impossible to forget.

The story is nearing its end. There still are a handful of pages left. What will they bring?

[It indeed is very corpse-shaped. You know me so well, Soupie.

It's half-buried onto the snow but it still is visible from some distance away, so clearly it hasn't been here for too long. You should be able to get it out easily!]

[ are you kidding me

Good thing she followed Edelgard's example and brought extra gloves... She starts digging through the snow, careful not to damage whatever's there. What is it? Or... Who... is... it...? ]

[It's...it's nobody.

It's almost completely featureless. Once Yuri gets it out she'll find it resembles a ragdoll -- a very large ragdoll. In fact, human-sized ragdoll, made of hemp and fabric. But it's solidly made, and it feels strangely warm.

But it's not alive, so that's a relief.

Still...when Yuri gets it out, she'll notice something on its face, something only she perhaps will understand. Two somethings, in fact. Once she sees them, just a couple seconds later they fall down from the surface of the dummy, falling onto the snow and disappearing from sight.

That was something]

So this is your play.

That's all there's to see. If Yuri tries to retrieve what fell from the dummy she won't be able to find them.

[ A moment later, after wondering if perhaps she played too short of a song with Yeager, Yuri attempts to rip open the ragdoll out of rage. She'll do her very best and what's she looking for is the doll's center. Will she succeed?! ]

[faentasy]

[Hmmmm! Looks like all there's to find inside is fluff and fabric. Poor dummy, deflating once Yuri digs into it. It did nothing wrong!]

[sempiternel]

[ Lights a match. Sets it on fire!!!

If only though, she doesn't have any :( Anyway, no more not-corpses from now on. Only real corpses. Only the real deal!!! ]

[When Yuri returns to her bedroom later, she finds the gigai lying on her vanity, because a gigai is a not-corpse too.
