[ McGillis has spent the weekend in a fairly irritated mood, but come the new week he's ready to take his mind of the trial and go exploring instead. The first time he tries to head to the new area he finds himself turning back to head to the boutique and pick out some winter clothes. It really is too bad that it's daytime right now... In all their weeks here, McGillis has taken great care to look the part of the nobleman, but ah... Today he's going to have to be a very warmly packaged peasant.
Now dressed for the weather, McGillis does make his way into the village and... not much further. People passing by can find him completely absorbed by staring at one of the floating fire balls. A minute passes, ten minutes pass... He jumps from vision to vision and can't seem to really drag himself away from them. His expression seems far, far, far away. Maybe he should get indoors and warm up properly sometime soon...
A while later, he can also be found in the church where he examines the stained glass. He still seems rather melancholy, but at least he's no longer completely absent-minded. ]
Appealing to nostalgia this insistently... talk about overdoing it, Hamelin.
[ In the evening meanwhile, McGillis is back in the lounge wearing his usual clothes. He is reading a fancy old-looking book labeled 'The Life of Agnika Kaieru' that does not appear to have come from the library - and more specifically it seems as though he's rereading the same few pages over and over and over. ]
