Early to bed, early to rise. At least it seems that's how it was for you last night, no matter what you were doing. Given the events of the past weekend, you might find your mind jumping to conclusions.
[ yes to all of the above! more specifically, he'll be looking for evidence of a fight, additional wounds that may or may not have drawn blood, anything that would suggest that gin was taken by surprise, rumpled clothing from struggling, broken furniture or furniture that would suggest someone knocking against it etc. - gin's not a tiny dude so, you know, the implication is that he's not easy to take down.
ok sorry gin he's going to have to desecrate your robes a bit because he's definitely ripping off a strip of cloth from the outer robe to do this test - how long would the cloth strip have to be if he uses it to measure the diameter of the blood pool? and sure he's taking a blood sample via the cloth WHY NOT
also related, because of the echo house shenanigery, does it affect the floor in echo house b if he does that blood test??
HAUNTED FLOUR............ assuming that he did the same tests as adora did (eg. checking for stickage, how they're floating), would he get exactly the same results?
but also, speaking of the flour, is it concentrated mostly on gin's sandals/the area around his feet or is more of it clumping up with the blood, inquiring minds want to know. what's the flour to blood ratio, did someone try to use flour to soak up the blood oh dear god
are there any footprints around containing blood/floor or a mix of both? trying to isolate whether the flour shenanigans happened post death or before, ]
[There's a table with some chairs and a dresser in the room, but they're at the end of the room and pretty far away from where Gin's body lays. There's no obvious damage around in general, but it's a decently empty and spacious room to begin with, so. Gin also has a thin gash through his left sleeve although his clothes are black and his sleeves are baggy, so it's hard to tell much about that at a glance.
It's a big puddle! Maybe it stretches about a foot away from Gin's head? But honestly, all you need to know is it's a pretty big pool.
There's no blood in Echo House B! So assuming William does this and runs over to check there, he won't see anything. The texture of the flour on the sandals would be the same. Re: floatiness, you do mean he's going to pick some from the sandals and yell at Adora to tell him what's up on the other side or...?
There's definitely quite of bit of flour compressed onto the sandals but there's also a fair amount right around Gin's body. They're not in giant clumps or anything like what you'd use to soak up vomit--the clumps are pretty small and just randomly mixed in with the blood. There's generally more flour around Gin's body, kind of like a faint and inconsistent outline. Flour to blood is like 1:10 or something.
[ MY BAD since that wasn't clear but no he'll probably independently do similar tests to what adora did in this thread, I just wanted to confirm that the results would be similar so that you didn't have to type it out all over again!
also just to confirm - the slash on his right arm is the one that's on the wound diagram (where the knives cut through both cloth and flesh) but the slash on his left arm only cut through the fabric and didn't nick any of the skin/didn't cause a wound? unless I'm misunderstanding something or can't tell right from left--
why is someone trying to draw a body outline in flour THERE ARE BETTER THINGS TO DO SO WITH... what on Earth was going through the killer's mind when they did this... he'll make a note about the sandals having a whole bunch of flour packed into them pretty densely.
just to confirm, there are no bags of flour lying around?! would william be able to tell where all the flour came from, is there a trail...
also since Morgan mentioned about the knives and is bringing them over for the two professors to examine - are all the knives exactly the same? Are there any variations in the knives - chef's knife, steak knife, paring knife, butter knife even. do all the wounds on gin look like they were caused by different knives or the same knife... ]
There's no wound on his right arm (unless i fucked something up on the diagram rip); there's only a cut on his left! William just wouldn't be able to see the left arm wound without messing with Gin's sleeve because it's just loose and baggy.
To be clear, it's not an exact outline per se, because it's not like the flour is in one completely unbroken and uniform line. But the flour just seems to be pressed up and around Gin's body and follows his contours.
There aren't any bags of flour lying out in the open, nope! No obvious trail to lead him to where the flour came from either.
The knives are all chef's knives. Gin has 3 pretty different wounds on him (stab, slit throat and the gash) so it's inconclusive if they're all caused by the same knife.]
[William please. I guess he's just going to cut Gin's arm in front of Pericles' salad???? This is fine.
But anyways, the knives can certainly slice through the fabric and Gin's skin pretty cleanly although obviously this is going to depend on how much force William is using. Anyways, it seems apparent that these knives have been pretty well-maintained!]
He'll curiously peer at the table with the chairs, however. Was there anything notable around/about these things? Anything underneath the table or on the tables or was he good to slip on back out? ]
