His expression... well, it looks neutral, with eyes half-lidded and mouth slightly open. At this point, the shallow cuts on his face are also pretty noticeable too, looking more like grazes than anything else. There's also some reddish discoloration on his face too.
His chest is... well, it's clear that whoever stabbed him practically shredded most of his top, although the zipper is still intact so it's not completely falling apart at the seams. It's kind of hard to tell what exactly has been stabbed with so many of them, especially since some of the stabs end up overlapping at points, too. There's a lot of blood soaked through his front though, which is probably what you'd expect.
Anyways, it looks terrible essentially but more specific wound deets will probably require taking off his top.]

McGillis does not seem particularly fazed by the sight, though he's definitely looked at nicer things in his time. Before moving to undress the body, there's one more thing he'd like to check though: how do his hands look? Are the nails damaged, is there skin under it, are there defensive scratches of any kind? ]

The hands are smudged with blood because he was lying in a puddle of his own but otherwise there aren't really any wounds on his hands!]

... and actually, we're still not undressing the poor guy, because now McGillis' gaze goes back to his face and the reddish discoloration. Is his whole face splotched red? It probably doesn't look like a normal blush, considering he's dead, right?
And if McGillis leans down and (ew) smells at his parted lips, is there any smell other than, like, blood? ]

Now it is time to unzip his shirt and bare his chest. Does the discoloration stop there, if it's possible to tell through the blood?

Well, besides the fact that there's a whole damn lot of them, he will find that a couple of them that are slightly larger compared to some of the others, with the one abdominal stab near the liver and one stab through Riku's left lung being a little more prominent. The rest of the stabs honestly just seem all over the place, with some of them being in other fatal areas or ones that would just barely graze an internal organ. Unfortunately, those in the latter category are few and far between because of how organs tend to be positioned in the torso, but it's something to note.
Furthermore, underneath the mess of blood, McGillis may notice a glint of something embedded into Riku's chest, near the heart.]

[ Though not because he needs a break from the sight and instead just because he's briefly vanishing into his room next door and surfacing with... well, that seems to be a shirt from the boutique during daytime. It also seems to be wet.
And soon it will be a wearable shirt no more because McGillis will wipe down Riku's chest to clear up some of the blood.
This brings to mind several questions: can he now tell if the discoloration goes to his back? Or if it stops anywhere down the torso? Further, is anything of note about the stabs? Serrated edges, clean cuts? And then finally - how deeply is the something embedded? Can he get it out via just going over the stab with his makeshift rag or does he need to actually get his fingers in there? ]

The discoloration does not go to his back, nope. It goes all the way down the front of his torso though and looks like it'd continue beyond that point too.
The stabs look fairly clean and the edges of the wounds aren't ragged at all.
The Mystery Something is protruding very slightly from the wound so while he won't need to dig for treasure he might still need to stick his fingers in just a bit. It's also notable that it's pretty small, so.]

But anyway, while McGillis is in his room getting his makeshift ShamWow ready, Phil will just check Riku's shoes as long as he's out here checking all the blood trail stuff. He highly doubts he walked here in this condition, but just in case... anything noticeable on the soles? ]

Riku's shoes do show the usual wear and tear you'd expect but not a lot of blood on the soles, no. With that said, there still is a little smeared around the front of the shoe.]

The red discoloration doesn't feel like a rash, nope! There's no swelling or bumpiness or anything where they are. It looks similar to bruising.]
