[I'm sorry he literally just. Walks into it. As established he is not properly awake..... Which way is the tape facing. Is he just sort of stickied to the doorway now please help.]

[Edelgard was fully sprinting to the ballroom when she passed Jack just getting his ass handed to him by a door. She stops at the kitchen and looks at it with bewilderment.]

Are you alright? Did someone... block the palace kitchen again?

[ Jack is now doing his best spider impression.

And because describing things is hard, have a picture instead, where Red is the tape and woe is Jack's hair for probably being somewhat caught up in this mess. ]

Jack makes a sort of sad confounded noise in general direction of the tape, but also sort of in response to Edelgard -- but luckily he's not too tangled up since he wasn't moving super fast. He's going to carefully try to peel himself off...]

I wonder if this is some sort of prank... But today doesn't seem like a good day for it.

[Since the actual view of the kitchens isn't blocked off, anything weird in there while he unspiders himself or.]

Ah, I think that might be a little much... Even if I'd like to give them a piece of my mind?

[Jack is kind of caught between laughing and being kind of relieved the kitchens aren't exploded and still kind of confused about why. Just what are y'all up to. Whoever y'all is. NHS did you do this.]

At least the archives were okay, but I wonder if Nie Huaisang was trying to help again.

[Should he like...... remove the tape. Is a cup of tea worth this. They'll probably have to remove the tape anyways at some point, so... actually are these kitchens even part of investigation proper, if not I can probably assume they removed the tape to make sure everything was kosher.]
